Take this tour! - Do this tour- so fascinating and educational and not cheesy or weird. I was concerned at first but our storyteller was so engaging and entertaining the time flew by and we walked away with such good history and awareness of this great city-- I never do dinner attached to a tour and it seemed those that did were not happy but the actual whiskey tasting and story telling was 5 stars!

Whisky, Wit, and a Brilliant Host - We absolutely loved this experience. Ben—our host and the owner—was an incredible storyteller. He entertained us for two hours that flew by. Honestly, I thought a two-hour whisky talk might get a little tedious, but I was completely wrong. Ben is funny, charming, and incredibly engaging—and coming from an American, I could happily listen to that accent for even longer! I genuinely learned a few new things about whisky, and I appreciated the balance of humor and education. If we hadn’t already made dinner plans, we would’ve happily stayed afterward, trusting that part of the evening would be just as excellent as the tasting itself.

- This was such a fun and immersive experience! The location was amazing —an underground room with seats around the walls so everyone had a great view and could chat with each other too. Our guide, Ewen, was incredible. A true Scottish storyteller with loads of charm and humour. He walked us through four different whiskies and helped those of us who were newbies understand how to taste and appreciate each one. The storytelling was just as memorable—fascinating history about how whisky came to be in Scotland, mixed with funny and personal stories from his own family. It felt super genuine and relaxed. This is an absolute must—not just to try Scotch (or as the Scots call it, the “water of life”), but to experience proper Scottish storytelling.

- Ben is a great host. He knows his whisky and took us on a hilarious journey of Scottish folklore as we experienced whiskies from different regions. We had a blast and now know a lot more about single malt Scotish whisky.

Whisky tasting with no haggis dinner - Angus was an excellent historian and storyteller with a perfect blend of information and humour. The whiskies were great, and we learned a lot about whisky distillation. My only complaint is that you need to update your website, as I was very disappointed that there wasn’t a haggis dinner.

Great Folklore. Mid Whiskey. - The best part of this activity was the folklore. I would have loved more stories and history. I did learn about whiskey tasting, and I enjoyed two of the whiskeys we tried. Overall, I was underwhelmed.
