Stunning end to the day - We loved this trip from start to finish! It was a small boat with 12 people, so no overcrowding or anyone getting in the way of the views. The guide Warner ( I think that was his name) and skipper Davide were informative, funny, and just lovely guys. We got lucky with the weather and saw the sunset over the shipyard. Gdansk is stunning by night and feels almost romantic when everything is lit up. Seeing the Old Town by water really puts a different spin on things. There's also the option to end the tour nearer the city centre. Buying tickets was a breeze, we went to the Dock Yard Cafe and paid for our places there.

Very engaging! - Went on a sunset cruise just this evening, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Our guide, Martyna, was very engaging and kept the guests interested with questions about things she'd just explained. If you're going to Gdansk, definitely book yourself a sunset cruise!

Fantastic experience - We really enjoyed this cruise despite the weathers best efforts. When we arrived at the pick up location it was raining heavily and we were thinking of just leaving. We stuck it out however and were were delighted we did. The clouds broke enough for us the catch the final moments of the sunset and the trip itself was wonderful. Our guide made it very intertaining, full of lots of historical information delivered with hunour, and the sights were amazing. We truly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend no matter the weather.

Nice trip with good guiding - The tour on this old style boat was a nice experience. Thanks for blankets since the evening was cold due to the wind. Interesting guiding of the old history og Gdansk.

Conclusion: 10/10 - The views from the water to the old town of Gdansk were wonderful. Especially in the picturesque twilight this was a special experience. Our guide also had a lot of information on all kinds of sights as well as, the luxury yachts built at the port in stock. Blankets for yesterday's comparatively cold evening were also available. Just great!

Fascinating facts in a flatboat - This is a small flat boat that carries12 people and crew. The crew were very friendly and humorous. We learned fascinating facts about Gdansk that we didn't read about. I would highly recommend. Bring heavy jacket and gloves in May. A blanket is very helpful too.

Could not recommend more... - Could not recommend more highly (we were lucky with the sunset). The guide was lovely, so knowledgeable and humorous. Really enjoyed the personal touch of an interactive guide, rather than a pre recorded audio. The tour was longer than expected , blankets provided and we were dropped off close to the city. Best tour of our stay in Gdansk.

Terrible experience! Captain left without us when we were on his dock! - This was a terrible experience, and easily the worst night of our 2 weeks in Poland. The information for this event said "meetup at 8:45" (this has since been changed on the website to "departs at 8:45", since I filed my refund request). Where I come from "meetup at 8:45" means we're gathering, and prepping to go shortly. Not "we're pulling out at 8:45 and leaving you on the dock". So, here is the story of our fateful night from the beginning. We had dinner in Old Town and got an Uber at 8:00pm. I thought that would be plenty of time to go the 2 miles to this location. The poor Uber driver drove to the area, then went back and forth trying to find the street. It was the sketchiest looking part of Poland that I've ever seen. He finally found the right road and dropped us off in a dirt parking lot, about 8:30pm. No signage, and nothing to indicate where to go. There was a sketchy looking building nearby that said "boat tours" and we walked all around trying to find someone. We finally found a lady who pointed to what looked like a snack bar farther down. So we walked there. It was now exactly 8:45, and the gal at the snack bar pointed to the boat now just pulling away from the dock. She yelled out, and the captain put his arms in the air and yelled something not very nice at us and continued to pull away! The gal at the snack bar was very apologetic and said "he'll come back in 30 minutes and take you later". No thanks! I immediately filed a refund request, but have never heard anything back after 3 weeks, so I'm assuming a refund is not happening. If it does I'll remove this review. As far as the activity, this is nothing like the kind of romantic-looking cruise you see in this picture. The boat was an ancient pontoon with no railing, basically a floating dock. It's not in the area of Old Town where all the nice restaurants and bars are. It's in the middle of nowhere. I've been to activities and excursions all over the world, and this was the most amateur hillbilly setup I've ever seen. If you decide to ignore my advice and go anyway, I would legitimately give yourself at least an hour to get there and find this place because it is in a dirt parking lot with no signs or other indication of where to go. Bon voyage!
