Snow Days Are Fun Days at Mount Blanc!! - We had so much fun with Rodzers at Mount Blanc last week. The day we went it was snowing and Mount Blanc not too clear BUT we had so much fun anyway playing in the snow, going through ice caves, playing in the look-outs and learning about Mount Blanc. I brought my ice skates but no rinks were open for the winter season in early October but I was good to know they had an ice rink for the future!!

Chamonix is a charming... - Chamonix is a charming resort village. Mont Blanc is the amazing highest point in the French Alps. We were lucky to have great weather and seemingly unlimited visibility on the mountain top. Getting up there on the cable car was a thrill in itself.

Awesome Day - Chamonix is a beautiful town, the cable car up to the mountain was fogged in but able to see enough to recognize the beauty, we went late September and I suggest layering as it gets very cold. The train ride up to the glacier was fun and seeing the glacier and being able to go into the ice caves was an awesome experience. We did not feel rushed and had enough time to shop around town and have a nice lunch. Highly recommended!

Substitute excursion to Glacier 3000 - Our excursion was cancelled and the substitute excursion we were offered since we couldn’t go the following day due to our travel schedule wasn’t what we expected. There was no visibility and we had paid a lot for the previous excursion and weren’t offered a refund on the difference. Our travel guide/ drivers were very polite however.
