• Montenvers - Mer de Glace - In the afternoon, hop on the charming red cogwheel train to Glacier Mer de Glace. The journey takes about twenty minutes, climbing 1,000 meters to reach the Montenvers-Mer de Glace site. The track winds up the mountainside, through forests, tunnels carved in rock, and over viaducts. Enter the realm of the high mountains, and as you round the final bend, feel the enchantment of arriving at the foot of the renowned Mer de Glace glacier, at an elevation of 1,913 meters.
• Mont Blanc - Explore the renowned village of Chamonix Mont Blanc: In 1924, Chamonix was the host of the first Winter Olympic Games. Skiing was introduced here in the late 19th century by Dr. Payot. Today, Chamonix is the most celebrated mountain village, and Mont Blanc stands as the highest peak in Europe.

Take a delightful ride aboard the quaint red cog railway to Montenvers, offering splendid views of Mer de Glace. This majestic glacier, spanning 4 miles (7km) in length and averaging just under a mile in width, is nestled amidst the towering peaks of Les Drus, Les Grandes Jorasses, and Les Grands Charmoz. The Montenvers location serves as a living testament to the climate changes affecting our planet.

• The operation of the Aiguille du Midi cable car and Mer de Glace train are both subject to local weather conditions on the day, we cannot know befor we leave if activities will be open
• Please note that if you take the Aiguille du Midi and Mer de Glace options, you will be provided with a multipass. Multipass which gives access to all the facilities of the Mont Blanc company. If you use this Multipass for a single activity, it will be considered by the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc as used and cannot be refunded if the other activities are closed. The Mont Blanc company offers alternative activities but does not authorize refunds of the multipass.
