Not to miss! - This tour was so much fun from the minute we walked on the bus, because our tour guide, Roger, shared informative narrative and history along the way and sprinkled it with humor and ways to participate in the dialogue. Roger made sure we were informed of what was to happen at each activity and gave suggestions to ensure each of us could have the best experience. We had so much fun, ate so much delicious chocolate and cheese, and, bonus, we learned so much across the trip, the activities and the charming medieval town. The mountain views were exceptional. Thank you, Roger!

We had fun taking this... - We had fun taking this tour of Gruyere Chocolate and Cheese factories. Our guide, Normunds, was excellent. He has a great sense of humor and took good care of us. The bus seats are a little to tightly packed for my liking, but since it’s a relatively short drive it was manageable. Delicious chocolate samples convinced me to buy some in the gift shop. Both the chocolate and the cheese tours were interesting and educational.

A very nice trip to have - Both places, the chocolate factory and the cheese factory are very nice. Gruyere is magical!! Great place, nice restaurants and the castle is phenomenal!! A must visit. There is some fees entrance but worth paying. Few tips before you book the tour: initially they mention they will pick you up from the hotel and 24 hours before the trip they send you a message and ask to meet them at the bus station. So be careful and always read their messages. The guide was nice and very friendly. However expect to be alone in all the activities. He was always on time and the schedule moved very smoothly.

Great tour of Gruyeres - Normunds was an excellent guide, informative and funny. Made some extra stops for sunset pictures and wine shopping. The chocolate and wine factories were great. Wish we had more time in Gruyeres to see the castle and walk around, all our time was taken up by lunch... but the tour was well organized and a good size, maybe 12 people in a small van. Thanks!

Make it a touch longer and it would be perfect - Great trip, maybe a little more time would have been better as some people on my tour said they felt they had to explore Gruyeres and the castle in a rush after lunch, and personally i felt i had to choose myself, skipping the castle but otherwise thoroughly enjoyable and the driver Babis? was funny and knowledgeable

Chocolate and cheese delight - The first thing is when you arrive at bus terminal go across the street at the Swiss tour office and wait for guide. Better than standing outside avoiding buses. Our guide Roger was very nice and accommodating but his voice was very hard to make out while he was driving and speaking thru microphone describing scenery 0n our excursion. We had another guide with him who never said a word. I thought he might be training. Our first stop was to the chocolate factory. It was very interesting and extremely tasting. You will have a chance to buy the goods after tour and boy did we load up on that delicious chocolate. The next stop was to the cheese factory. It was shorter but interesting. Loaded up on cheese to take home. The older the cheese the saltier it becomes. We then spent time in a town village. It was great. We were there for 2 hours. Wish it was 4 because so much to see and do and we ran out of time. There is an alien museum and bar and we had no time to visit after spending our time in the castle. My advice is lengthen tour to accommodate. There were great places to eat but no time. You either ate or toured. No time for both. The scenery from Geneva to Gruyère was awesome.
