Honest staffing - Good for the price. We rode both routes in Genova and the buses were cleaned and operators were super nice. My husband dropped his wallet on the bus. We didn’t know and thought we were picked pocket. When seeking police help, we got a text and email from the local offices notifying us they had found the wallet. Nothing was missing from the wallet, honest and great staffing. Thank you

Excellent way to get around the city from a cruise ship - Easy access to both bus routes from the port. Recommend staying on the bus for most of the route to get a feel for the city and see where you want to get off and explore.

Excellent introduction to a new city. - This is an ideal way to find out about Genoa and get a sense of direction and prospective when visiting a new city.

Overall, enjoyed it. It... - Overall, enjoyed it. It was difficult to follow on the map where we were. I would definitely recommend doing the hop on hop off.

Genoa - works better - Full price paid but unfortunately in Genoa the destination lighthouse was not approached for undeclared reasons. We had then asked Guide on the bus, but he could not provide us with a satisfactory answer. At the Genoa train station we waited 45 minutes!? Otherwise, usually expiration.

Disappointing - Disappointing for 3 reasons: - The idea of passing in the most beautiful and important points of the city with a panoramic bus, therefore at low speed, was what we expected. Unfortunately, the bus traveled as if it were a normal city line, with accelerations, even abrupt braking and without having time to observe what the audio guide illustrated. - Another reason, in the uncovered top, due to the cheerful gait, we caught cold despite the sun of the first days of May. - Third reason 25€ is excessive.

Not our best decision. - We booked hop-on-hop off for three of the city's we visited. One city id didn't work out. We never got on. It was always full. The next city it worked well and we were happy. The third city was OK .Some busses ran early and spacing was uneven. Once on the bus they were good.

Minimal itinerary to improve - Having already done.the same experience.in Milan I.wanted to try it also Genoa. Unfortunately, the proposed itineraries are scarce and not exhaustive. The bus offers only 2 routes and partly overlapping. Information from audio guides is very scarce. The areas covered are the port and the lower part of the city. Interesting and the stage of boccadasse a very characteristic corner and with parking difficulties.

Impossible to buy a ticket - The brochure says you can buy tickets on the bus. We waited half an hour for the bus to come along - only to be told by the girl examining tickets that she had not brought her ticket machine with her so we could not board but would have to wait for the next bus in half an hours time. So we did not make the trip. I fail to understand the point of running a hop on hop off bus service if passengers cannot buy tickets as advertised.

Worst bus ride ever - It took us an hour in line in the sun to board the 1st bus. The buses were overcrowded, few and far between, and not made for anyone over 5' 5" tall. I'm 6' 4" and my wife is 5' 7" and her knees were jammed into the seat in front of us. Mine were in the aisle until someone needed through. Very uncomfortable. The earbuds they provided wouldn't stay in our ears and we didn't bring duct tape so fought with them the whole time. Worst bus ride ever!
