This historic mansion, once the residence of Kapitan Chung Keng Kwee, displays over 1000 antiques and collectibles illustrating the life of the Straits Chinese or Peranakan culture in Malaysia, especially the Penang Peranakan. The elaborately decorated mansion is also a favored filming location for movies and TV series. A guided tour will explain the various functions of the mansion’s different parts and offer insights into this unique culture.
