Established in 1986 as the world’s oldest Tropical Butterfly Farm, it underwent a major transformation and reopened in 2016. Visitors can enjoy over 120 species of butterflies in an open-air setting and explore a variety of insects and reptiles in the two-story display and learning center.

- Dharmikarama Burmese Temple - Discover Penang Island’s earliest Chinese settlement, where homes are perched on wooden stilts above the water. - St. George’s Anglican Church - The street begins at St. George’s Church, built by the British East India Company in 1819, making it the oldest building in Penang. - Goddess of Mercy Temple (Kuan Yin Teng) - Along the way, visitors are greeted by a vibrant Taoist temple dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy, a beacon of light at any time of day. Surviving two world wars, the temple was initially built to thank the sea goddess for safe travels. As the Hokkien and Cantonese population grew, Goddess of Mercy Guanyin replaced Goddess Mazu. During Chinese New Year, devotees gather to seek blessings for a healthy and prosperous year.
- Sri Mariamman Temple - Originating from South India, this is the oldest Hindu temple in Penang, located on the Street of Harmony. Adorned with diamonds and precious stones, it exemplifies Hindu architecture in the South Indian Dravidian style. The area, once filled with moneylenders, merchants, and laborers, contributed to the creation of a shrine far from home. Visitors can enjoy the scent of sandalwood and the joyful atmosphere from the devotees.

Built by Indian Muslims, it was named after Kapten Caudeer, the head of the Indian Muslim community, and “Keling,” his birthplace.
