Ganeta is a delight! - Ana made certain we saw all the special sights along the way. We loved that! The winery Ganeta is small but mighty. It’s fun to walk through the vines and then have an outside tasting with the gorgeous view. The food served with the inside tasting was a delight! A good half day and not so far away.

Beautiful views, delicious wine and pintos! - This was a wonderful combination of sightseeing and wine tasting. We toured Getaria (the church is beautiful!) and also toured a small gothic church near the winery. The views from the winery were breathtaking and the tour ended with a pinxto and wine pairing- very delicious

Great experience! 10/10 recommend - This was an absolutely amazing experience that I think is a must-do in San Sebastián! We had an amazing tour with Paul who was passionate about the Basque Country and extremely knowledgeable about the history/ culture of this amazing region. The tour was a perfect amount of time and the small group felt special and cared for. We got to try txakoli straight from the barrel tap! After a tour of the winery we were able to sit down for a tasting with small bites. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking to explore the countryside with great people and even better wine.

Getaria Txakoli tour is a must do! - I went on the Txakoli tour the Getara today and loved the whole experience! Our guide, Paul Garcia was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of this area. He shared history about the area to make our tour relevant and come alive. The hostess at the Gaintza winery (4th generation winery) was also wonderful, gave us a great tour of the vineyards, explained how the wine is made and showed us the entire process. The tour end with a wine tasting that included anchovies, tuna and chocolate turron! Highly recommend!

Tzakolina and Getaria 20 mins from San Sebastián is a must do - What a great 4 hours. It was an amazing place to go and visit - the views of Getaria and the Mouse were splendid from the heights above Zarautz. Thoroughly recommended it if you are in the area. Iker was an amazing host and guide. And the Gaintza Tzakoli vineyard was fantastic! We loved the Tzakoli Classico and Aitako, and the rose for the US palette was also good.

Amazing countryside wine and sights tour! - What a great way to spend an afternoon! Our guide was fantastic and had a great understanding of the history and culture. He provided a short driving tour first to explain the area where the grapes for the local wine came from. He then joined us for an excellent tour of the Ganeta vineyard where he added to the conversation about the region’s food, wine, and culture. We highly recommend you take this tour with Imedol (sp?).

a history lesson on San Sebastián and Spain, not necessarily a wine tour :/ - Okay so I’ll get right into it. A few things to be noted before you book this tour you will receive one glass of wine total. Yes. One glass. It also mentions that you will receive lunch. I want to clarify what lunch is, 2 thin sardines, 1 bite of white fish and a small bite of chocolate. Do not come to this hungry or thirsty. I wish I had known this prior because I was on this tour from 9 AM until 2 PM. Our tour guide was very kind, but it was more of a historical learning trip than anything rather than an actual wine tour. I learned more about the history of San Sebastian, the wars, the roads, the culture, everything yes that was amazing, but I really signed up for the wine tour. Also, the actual owner of the wine tour was absolutely fabulous. He was very informative but again if you’re looking to drink wine, this is not the tour for you. You get three sips of wine, which makes up to about one glass. I think for 150 USD it was not worth it.
