Drive from Pokhara to Syauli Bazar then trek to Ghandruk - 4 hrs (1935m)
Ghandruk - After spending the night in Pokhara, enjoying views of the Annapurna Himalaya range with Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’, the day begins with breakfast followed by a drive beyond Pokhara to start the first day of trekking. The short drive offers views of Annapurna, passing through farm villages and towns, reaching Bhirethati village. From there, the journey continues to the starting point of the trek, moving from low, warm farm areas to stone steps with an uphill climb, arriving at the large Gurung village of Ghandruk, also known as Ghandrung.
Trek From Ghandruk to Sinuwa 2,210 m – 7/8 hrs.
Chhomrong - From Ghandruk, the morning walk begins on a gradual path for a short while, followed by a climb to reach Kimrong Danda (ridge). After a brief break, the trail descends into cool forested paths leading to Kimrong River and a charming farm village. From there, a climb of an hour or more reaches a hilltop. The path then continues gradually to Chomrong, with a short descent to the overnight stop at Chomrong. This large Gurung village, similar to Ghandruk, is the last permanent settlement on the route to Annapurna Base Camp and Sanctuary.
Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali 3700 m – 7/8 hrs.
Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m) Via MBC– 5 hrs.
Annapurna Mountain Range - The adventure nears its highlight as the trek leads through the forest past Himalaya Hotel, situated next to the large Hinko cave, beneath Annapurna South and Huin-Chuli peaks. From Himalaya Hotel, the path descends to near Modi River, followed by a short climb to Deurali, where tall tree lines give way to alpine bushes. The trek continues uphill along the Modi River to Machhapuchare base camp for an overnight stop, located beneath the North Face of Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’.
Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo 2,345 m – 06 hrs.
Annapurna Mountain Range - After enjoying the beautiful and pleasant scenery at Annapurna base camp, a long walk of nearly six hours leads downhill with short ascents to reach Bamboo, returning to tall tree lines and lush vegetation, after experiencing the arctic zone climate at Annapurna base camp and sanctuary.
Trek From Bamboo to Jhinu village 1,780m with Hot Spring – 06 hrs.
Jhinu Danda Hot spring - The return journey to Chomrong involves an up and downhill trail. From Chomrong hilltop, the route diverts to a fresh new trail leading to the charming hill village of Jhinu, located on a ridge with stunning views of rolling hills and mountains. Jhinu offers a refreshing natural hot spring for those interested, just a half-hour downhill walk to the hot spring with two warm pools near the rushing Modi-River.
Trek to Samrung Danda then drive to Pokhara- 03 hrs.
Pokhara Museum - The final day of trekking leads to Siwai in 4 hours, followed by a 2-hour drive to Pokhara. The morning begins with a pleasant walk downhill through low and warm farm areas, culminating in a scenic and beautiful drive to Pokhara for an overnight stay by the famous serene Lake Phewa.
