Family recommended. - The chocolate workshop was interesting and informative. Liu did a great job of explaining the history and process of making chocolate. My wife and our two young teens were interested the entire time, as was I. We would recommend for anyone visiting Ghent.

Fun and educational - This workshop stands out from others as you can learn to make chocolate from scratch (i.e. cocao beans). Leo was friendly and welcoming, he explained every steps of the chocolate making process and the history of chocolate. We also tasted the cocao fruit juice, cocao tea and the first drinking chocolate as we learned through the timeline of its development. Highly recommended!!

Rediscover the history of chocolate - A very varied, educational workshop with comprehensive insight into the history of chocolate. My sister and I were able to get to know brand new flavors of the cocoa bean, combined with a lot of fun, a homemade chocolate bar and a very attentive, humorous workshop leader. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Perfect experience - The workshop was a very interesting and fun experience! The host was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Having visited chocolate (history) museums in the past, we still learned a lot during this workshop that we didn't know before. It was great fun to make our own chocolate drinks and chocolate bars from scratch starting with cocoa beans and the different chocolates whe got to taste where delicious. A group that booked the same workshop had cancelled so we were lucky to have a private workshop just for the two of us and were seated in a very nice spot right by the window.

Best Chocolate Learning & Making Experience - I’ve been to a number of chocolate history museums and this workshop beats them all hands down. I learnt so much more about crafting chocolate and how it came about in this workshop it was really incredible, tastings were delicious and we all had lots of fun too. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn the history of chocolate beyond just watching someone make it or looking at it through a glass window.

A highlight of our trip! - My husband and I booked an 11am chocolate workshop. We lucked out and had it private. The shop is so cute and we were seated right by the window. It was beautifully organized. During the class, we learned about the history of chocolate, made chocolate tea, hot chocolate, and a chocolate bar. We also received chocolates made professionally by their chocolatier. It was such a fun, immersive experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone! It's in our top 3 activities of our entire trip!
