Recommended - Highly recommended if you are in Ghent and love Specialty Beer. We had Tom as a guide and he could tell everything nicely and knows a lot about it. You will also get a nice impression of the city during the walk.

9,5 - Beerwalk March 2026 We were there because of a friend's birthday. What a great experience it was! Nice places of Ghent seen where I had never been before. Also tasted good beers. Everything was told and explained with a lot of knowledge by our guide (Franky van Britsom) who also deserves a big thumbs up for this! What a nice man! This is highly recommended! Educational and fun. - Very interesting and entertaining. Learned a lot about beer, from the brewing process to drinking many types of beer at what temperature. The guide, Patrick, was very knowledgeable, friendly and sociable.

A cozy and educational beer experience with city walk - Patrick told it in a very nice and clear way. We had a nice group and learned a lot about beer and the brewing process. And of course also tasted it. The walk through the city topped it all off.

Beer and achieve your step goal! - We had a very nice walk through Ghent with Patrick. He knows a lot about making beer and Ghent, which makes a nice combination with tasting 5 beers. Due to some walkout within the group itself, we were not able to see all the cafes, but we were able to taste the last beers in the last cafe. We were able to ask Patrick all questions about Ghent, beer and Flanders, and therefore we had a very nice time. Highly recommended if you like to walk and see something of the city and cafes (besides tasting good beers of course). By walking in between, the man with the hammer also comes later!

Beerwalk Ghent, highly recommended! - We were with 10 friends from Sint Annaland a weekend in Ghent and booked the Beerwalk. Our guide Axel de Keyser took us and told us about all Belgian and Ghent beer customs in an informative and humorous way. Also highly recommended for those who have visited Ghent before, Axel takes you to breweries and pubs where you normally do not visit often. We had a very nice afternoon.
