Best tour I have been on! - Amazing experience! Our private beer tour in Ghent was the perfect way to dive into Belgian beer culture. Our guide was friendly, passionate, and super knowledgeable we couldn’t have asked for better. She made the tour both fun and informative for everyone, whether you’re already an enthusiast or just getting started. We loved the mix of unique local breweries and hidden gems around the city, and the beer pairings with snacks and chocolate were a great touch. If you are looking for a unique and cosy beer experience in Ghent, a beer tour with Beer Secret is an absolute must. And if you're lucky enough to have David as your guide, you can prepare for a great day!
David is not just a guide – he is a true beer ambassador. His knowledge of Belgian beers is impressive, but what really makes it special is how passionate and accessible he tells everything. From the brewing process to the hidden stories behind local breweries: David knows how to deliver it all in a fascinating, humorous and warm way.
During the tour we visited some carefully selected breweries and cozy cafes where we not only tasted delicious beers, but also heard stories you won't find anywhere else. David created an open and relaxed atmosphere in which everyone felt welcome – whether you are a seasoned beer lover or just curious about Belgium’s beer heritage.
What really made this experience special was how personal and authentic it felt. No tourist clichés, but a real insight into the world of Belgian beer, accompanied by someone who lives for his profession.

Recommended - boating & beer tasting - Great boat anyway had with beer tasting. Despite the large group, the tasting was well matched to the large group of 18-35 year olds. Top day!

Great tour! - Carine was a fantastic guide and we had a great tour, which we all enjoyed very much indeed, including my wife who would describe herself as not really a beer drinker. Carine was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic that it would have been difficult not to enjoy the tour in her company. We visited some great places and tried some great beers and had a superb afternoon!

Local experience in Gent - Even I live in city Gent it was a new and fun experience. I had a good time and I discover new beers that I like drinking now. Also we went to a few places what I didn't know yet. It's fun to discover your own city on a different way. I certainly recommend this tour or any other one that's available.
