Great photo tour away from the tourist crowds - Hoi An Fishing Nets - We had a great day away from the tourists in Hoi An, and in very good company. It was a bit like being on a movie set with the fishing net girls - with lighting instructions and models, in an authentic setting. We learnt a lot about the culture and history of Vietnam as well as setting up some good shots. We loved the time with fisherman at the end of the day as well - the golden light was perfect and the fisherman was really amenable . He took his time, took us on his boat, showed us his catch and moved graciously for the camera. My husband loved it all as well and is keen now keen to do more photography - so a great success all round. 😀Our guide Giang was knowledgeable, friendly and constantly on the look out for good shots. He coordinated the tour perfectly, was great fun and took his time to explain, encourage and share. A great day and well worth it.

Top experience! - Momentlives is a certainty. We returned for the holidays in Vietnam and relied on them again for a tour, this time 2 days to Nam Dinh. Beautiful experience, super organized. James told us so many anecdotes and stories about those places. I recommend the experience because, in addition to being followed in the shots, it is a great cultural enrichment.

Fabulous. - In the way of context, I am fairly well, traveled internationally and have taken several photographic tours in foreign countries. My short review is there is no better Photography tour, guide and culture, guide and person than Thieu Son of Moment Lives. I write reviews periodically, and I’ve never felt more certain of recommending a company than Moment Lives. You will be more than satisfied; you’ll be thrilled with your experience in engaging Bowman lives.

A day I look back on with pleasure, with many good pictures. - I did the tour "Hoi An Fishing Nets" on a Saturday in Hoi An. The tour was excellently organized, at all times vehicles and actors were super punctual, there was a lot of time to take pictures in peace and do different settings. The start time was adjusted to the sunrise at short notice. A local photographer came along and took over directing the models and preparing the setup.

Great photography tour, I would not have gotten the same images if I'd have gone alone. - I did a full day tour with momentlives, visiting the incense village, fish trap village, and soy sauce making place.
It was a fantastic experience, the tour was well organised and each stop was focussed around letting you take great pictures without rushing.
Our guide, Mike, knew where to go and when, and had prearranged local craftspeople to be working together and in interesting places when you got there. He would translate, assist with photos, and always made sure we were happy.
I would do any of momentlives photo tours without hesitation. I'm a good solo traveller but I would not have gotten the same photos if I went here alone.

Only the Best! - My second time with this group. Each excellent. They are beyond my expectations, and plan to go with them again in May 2024. They are so good I keep going back with them. They take us to excellent places that tourists do not typically go, and we get authentic and beautiful experiences.

More than I could have expected. - I was on a 10 day photo trip with a small group. Momentlives were our local tour guides and the ones who made all the in-country accommodations, domestic flights, ground transportation, and arranged all our meals for the ten days. They are also experienced photographers who have made it there goal to know where and when to photograph as many locations in Vietnam as they can possibly scout. We started in Hanoi where we toured places like the midnight market, many fantastic location in and around Hanoi as well as the surrounding country side. We then took a domestic flight to the central part of Vietnam. What a beautiful country and the people were so friendly and tolerant of photographers capturing images of everything they were doing. I give credit to Trieu Son and Hoa Nguyen Duc for developing the relationship with the local people and in some cases the local leaders for this kind of access. I got the most fantastic images in this part of Vietnam. One of them was chosen by our local newspaper as a winning image in their annual “Travel Photograph of the Year” contest. We took another domestic flight down to Saigon and again Son and Hoa knew exactly where we would get the opportunity to capture wonderful images. The accommodation they arranged through out the trip were always the best available at that location, most 4 and 5 start hotels or resorts and even the locations that did not have that classy of accommodation, they found us wonderful places to stay and made up for not being 5 star by having a wonderful location, view, and staff that were great. I just can’t say enough about Son and Hoa of Momentlives, they were so friendly, knowledgeable of both Photography and the in-country travel/accomidations, and Food.
