- Pillars of Hercules - Gibraltar is recognized as one of the Pillars of Hercules, with the other located across the Strait in Morocco, known as Jebel Musa. According to Greek mythology, Hercules needed to cross the Atlas Mountains but instead smashed through them, separating the mountains and connecting the Atlantic Ocean with the Mediterranean Sea.
- Catalan Bay - Catalan Bay, locally referred to as ‘La Caleta,’ is a small bay on the eastern side of the Rock. It was once a quaint fishing village and bay.
- 100 Ton Gun Napier of Magdala Battery - The 100 Ton Gun is a must-see, being one of only two remaining in the world. Installed in the early nineteenth century, it is well worth a visit.
- The Rock of Gibraltar - The Gibraltar Nature Reserve, famously known as “The Rock,” is maintained and preserved by the Ministry of Environment. This Nature Reserve is a must-visit, offering a wealth of history, flora, and fauna, including the famous Barbary Macaques.
- St. Michael’s Cave - St. Michael’s Cave is the heart of the Rock. It boasts a fascinating history and serves as a unique venue for concerts and shows due to its incredible acoustics. In 2021, the cave introduced “The Awakening,” a high-tech light projection show that illustrates the evolution and history of this extraordinary natural site.
- O’Hara’s Battery - The highest point in Gibraltar, named after General Charles O’Hara, who served as Governor of Gibraltar from 1795 to 1802.
- Gibraltar: A City Under Siege Exhibition - Dating back to the early 18th century, these buildings are believed to be among the first constructed by the British in Gibraltar, originally built as magazines for ammunition storage. The main attraction of this exhibition is the graffiti inside the building, featuring drawings by soldiers, with the earliest dated 1726. The numerous exhibits provide insight into civilian life during those times.
- Skywalk - This impressive structure is composed of four layers of laminated glass floors and sides, offering 360-degree views from 340 meters above sea level. Here, visitors can truly appreciate the stunning vistas.
- The Great Siege Tunnels - Also known as the Upper Galleries, the Great Siege Tunnels are a network of tunnels within the Rock of Gibraltar. The British excavated the solid limestone during the Great Siege of Gibraltar in the late 18th century.
- The Moorish Castle Complex (The Tower of Homage and The Gate House) - This 14th-century fortress is rich in history. Visitors can observe the scars from various sieges over the years and the fortress that dominates Gibraltar’s hillside.
- Main Street - Enjoy free time in the town center of Gibraltar, where you can shop, visit the famous Casemates Square, and enjoy a meal or refreshment.
