- St. Michael’s Cave - St. Michael’s Cave attracts thousands of visitors annually who explore its vast caverns with ease, thanks to its simple access and minimal steps. This incredible natural wonder was formed by rainwater slowly seeping through limestone, creating a weak carbonic acid that gradually dissolved the rock over millions of years.
In 2021, St. Michael’s Cave introduced a new lighting upgrade called The Awakening, enhancing the experience of the cave’s natural beauty. Visitors can now enjoy St. Michael’s Cave like never before! This immersive light and sound installation reveals layers of history intertwined with the rock. The ancient cavern, once dormant, is brought to life as The Awakening illuminates sculptures older than time, unveiling their hidden stories.
- Skywalk - The Skywalk, once a military lookout, has been transformed into a state-of-the-art glass platform and walkway offering stunning views across the Mediterranean. It provides an uninterrupted 360º panoramic viewpoint. Enter this 360º environment to experience the freedom and exhilaration of The Skywalk.
- Barbary macaque feeding station - Visitors will spend time with the famous monkeys at Upper Apes Den, located at the same height as the cable car. The Barbary Macaque Apes are the only ones found in Europe, residing in the upper rock nature reserve of Gibraltar. Currently, there are over 200 apes in six packs roaming the upper rock. Legend has it that in 1942, the ape population dwindled to just seven, prompting the British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, to order their immediate replenishment. As long as Barbary Macaque Apes inhabit the Rock of Gibraltar, it will remain under British rule.
- The Great Siege Tunnels - The Great Siege Tunnels are a must-see, offering insights into Gibraltar’s history under siege. These tunnels were hand-carved out of the rock during the Great Siege from 1779 to 1783 to defend Gibraltar against Spanish and French forces attempting to reclaim it from the British.
- The Moorish Castle Complex (The Tower of Homage and The Gate House) - The Moorish Castle, a medieval fortification in Gibraltar, comprises several buildings and stands proudly on the eastern elevation of the Rock. It symbolizes the rich and colorful history of Gibraltar, originally built in 1160 CE and later ransacked by the Spanish between 1309 and 1333. The ‘Tower of Homage’ was rebuilt in the 14th century by Abu-l-Hasan, and today, visitors can explore the recently restored castle, marvel at the 14th-century walls, and admire the achievements of Gibraltar’s first city builders, the Moors. Cannon dents are still visible on the castle walls.
- Europa Point - Europa Point is situated at the southernmost tip of the Rock of Gibraltar. From this location, visitors can enjoy stunning views across the Strait of Gibraltar into North Africa, including Morocco, as well as the Bay of Gibraltar and the Spanish towns along its shores.
- Napier of Magdala Battery - The 100 Ton Gun. In the late 1800s, four of these massive guns were constructed by Britain’s naval authorities to secure their holdings. Two were built for Gibraltar, and another two for Malta.
- Catalan Bay - This picturesque bay is renowned for its sandy beaches, water sports, sunbathing, and vibrant fishing village.
- Gibraltar International Airport - During this tour, visitors will drive under the airport runway (Kingsway Tunnel) towards the Spanish border, just meters away from Spain. They will even witness Spanish Customs in action.
