An Outstanding Upper Rock Walking Tour! - I’m not normally one for leaving reviews but I have to say going on this tour has left me with some unforgettable memories. Stephen is a fantastic guide who is so knowledgeable about Gibraltar, no question was too difficult. If you get the chance to go up the Rock via the ‘Mediterranean Steps’ then you will not be disappointed, the views are spectacular on a clear sunny day. Highly recommended!

Best Walking Tour of the Rock! - Stephen was an absolutely wonderful guide! We were specifically looking for a walking tour of the Rock and were not disappointed! We learned so much about the Rock and Gibraltar and saw so many of the sites (and monkeys) along the way! Stephen was very friendly, easy to talk to, and very accommodating - we had to be at the airport at a certain time but still wanted to explore some of the tunnels and he did a fantastic job helping us to see everything we wanted to see and still get us to the airport on time. We all really enjoyed walking with Stephen and would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Gibraltar!

Entertaining Guide Made It Fun! - Our British guide. Chris, was knowledgeable and hilarious! The panoramic views were breathtaking, the Barbary macaques were adorable, and St, Micheal’s Cave was spectacular. Be prepared to walk up steep hills and through low, narrow tunnels with uneven surfaces.

Fabulous tour- only thing missing was the sun! - What a great tour!! Stephen was informative, interesting and had loads of fun facts to tell us about Gibraltar. We did a private tour with 7 of us (three teenagers). We started the tour earlier than normal because we wanted to add on the tunnels at the end, which I do recommend doing- especially the WWII tunnels. It has a museum like feel with a fun spy vibe. We were able to spot many monkeys which made for great pictures and interesting interactions! The hike was a good one- you will definitely get your steps in, but if you are in pretty good shape, it is totally doable. There were several bathrooms along the way and even a cafeteria and gift shop to pop in to if you so desire. Unfortunately it was a rainy cloudy day. We got some amazing pictures, but I can only imagine how they would have been if we had had a bit of sunshine! I definitely recommend this tour with Stephen. I would go back and do it again- especially on a sunshiny day just for the gorgeous views!

Active, informative tour of the Rock of Gibraltar - We had a great tour with Stephen, hiking up to the top of the Rock and visiting a number of the sites within the Nature Reserve, including Skywalk, St. Michael’s cave, the WWII museum, and the Barbary Apes. He was very informative about what we saw and experienced. The views from the top over Gibraltar, over to Spain and Africa, are wonderful. This is a tour for people who want to learn about Gibraltar (and especially its WWII history) while also enjoying the climb and hike. Stephen let us set the pace.

Excellent tour and hike to the Rock with Stephen - This was a great tour to explore in depth all the sites on the Top of the Rock, not to mention making the hike up and down the Rock itself. The views over the town of Gibraltar, over to Spain and even over to Africa were well worth the hike. Stephen was a great guide and led us up and around the Rock on routes we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. He provided detailed information about Gibraltar’s history and geographic location, especially WWII history which is also on display at one of the museums. We visited St. Michael’s cave, the Skywalk, the WWII museum and of course had opportunity to visit the Barbary apes. Stephen was ready and willing to customize the tour for the sites on the rock that we wanted to visit. Highly recommended!

Helpful, very knowledgeable, interesting and also always aware of our condition. My highlight was the Mediterranean Steps and views from them. A terrific day out with an expert guide.

Friendly and informative - Enjoyed our walking tour with Steven who talked us through snap shots of history while exploring the national park. It’s a great way to see the area but make sure you have good walking footwear and a large bottle of water on a warm day. We would thoroughly recommend this experience.
