Rude restaurant staff - We upgraded to 1st class for an additional 66chf and the restaurant staff were rude and ignored us while catering to german speakers who sat well after us. Horrid service and a 3rd class experience. The cruise itself is beautiful but the restaurant staff ruined the excursion.

Beautiful views, disgusting service. - My partner and I booked this cruise while visiting Switzerland for a couple of days. Although the views were amazing, the staff turned it into a horrible experience. We had an elderly gentleman as our server who came to our table and took our order. At first, I just thought he was awkward. However, my partner and I both had only ordered a black coffee, so I knew something was wrong when our server was walking out entrees to Swiss families around us and still hadn't brought us a simple black coffee. After waiting for so long, it felt like we were being ignored. I walked back up to the service counter to ask about the coffees we had ordered and was basically yelled at to sit back down by another one of the servers. After this, our server did come back with our coffees and proceeded to glare at us wordlessly while setting them down on the table. We managed out a forced thank you just to get him to leave. I don't make this claim lightly, but I feel like my partner and I were profiled and targeted because of this man's prejudice. After that, he refused to come back to our table, even to give us the check or collect our glasses. He ignored us for the rest of the time while serving every table around us. It was such an uncomfortable and frustrating experience that we got off early. When I explained the situation, as I was explaining why we wanted to get off early to the ticket salesman, he began to laugh. Maybe, it is a Swiss mannerism to laugh when someone tells you they've been treated atrociously.
