• Kayak Center Guíxols - Operated by local experts with over three decades of maritime experience and extensive knowledge of the Costa Brava, participants will explore stunning coastal locations on a guided, secure adventure designed to maximize enjoyment of the Mediterranean. Safety is paramount, with clear instructions, ongoing supervision, and route and snorkeling area selections based on sea conditions. The journey will proceed either north or south, depending on the conditions at the time, adjusting the itinerary to provide the most suitable and appealing option. Throughout the excursion, the guide will offer insights into local history, geological formations, cliffs, and marine life, providing continuous guidance both during kayaking and snorkeling stops. Participants will have the chance to swim and explore underwater areas in locations selected for their beauty and safety. High-quality equipment is supplied, including stable, easy-to-maneuver sit-on-top kayaks perfect for beginners, and photos taken during the activity are later shared with participants as a keepsake.

Embark on an exhilarating kayak and snorkel journey amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the Costa Brava. Ideal for families, groups of friends, and beginners alike. Starting from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, participants will navigate stable sit-on-top kayaks across pristine waters, discovering coves, islets, cliffs, and secluded areas only reachable by sea.

Prior to setting off, the instructor will provide an overview of basic paddling techniques and safety instructions. The guide will remain with the group throughout, adjusting the pace to ensure everyone enjoys the experience comfortably while sharing fascinating insights about the region.

During the trip, there will be a pause in a protected cove for snorkeling, allowing participants to explore the Mediterranean’s rocky seabed, where fish, sea urchins, and anemones are frequently spotted, and with some luck, starfish or octopuses.

This 2-hour adventure is suitable for individuals aged 7 and above, requiring no special physical fitness. Double sit-on-top kayaks are predominantly used.

• IMPORTANT: Children from 7 to 13 years old can participate in the activity but must always be accompanied by an adult.
• IMPORTANT: For safety reasons, being able to swim is mandatory to participate in this activity. Non-swimmers will not be allowed to join and will not be entitled to a refund.
• It is not a suitable activity for people weighing more than 120 kg.
• The client undertakes not to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs and/or narcotics, as well as any other medication that may affect his/her ability to react or endanger the normal development of the activity. Failure to comply with this condition will not allow him/her to participate in the activity and will not be entitled to any refund of the amount paid up to that point.
