The time flew by! - Joan Marc was a great guide! He knew so much about Girona and made every bit of it interesting. I really appreciated all the knowledge about the architecture, geology, and geography of Girona and how he tied it all in with stories of real people and history. It was a fantastic tour.

Wonderful overview of Girona for a family - Loved our time with Marc. He was SO knowledgeable about Girona history, which was engaging, interesting, and took a lot of the load off of me as the "mom tour guide" for our family of 4 (2 teenage boys). At first, we weren't sure if we would like this town as much as others we've been to in Europe, but Marc's stories about local legends, Christmas traditions, and historical facts made us enamored with this place. He easily answered any questions we had; as a history student, he seemed to know everything! A highlight was stopping at a cafe for a delicious xiuxo pastry (like an American Bavarian-creme-filled donut) and a taste of a local liqueur (delicious!) plus hot chocolate for our 11-year-old. The tour was just our family plus two other American women, which made it easily to navigate the narrow Girona streets. A highlight of our entire trip was learning about the interesting Christmas traditions of Catalonia including stories from Marc about the caganer and caga Tio. (Ask!) Thanks!

Amazing and Interesting Tour - A truly incredible walking tour. Our guide was John Marc and he was interesting, full of fun information, and kept the entire group engaged and excited. He gave us a good general history of Girona and took us to all the key spots. Also enjoyed the vibes of the cafe where we had ratafia and xuixo. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Girona and tell them they should hope John Marc is their tour guide. Also, he gave great recommendations for bars and restaurants which we really enjoyed.
