- Giverny - Giverny is a charming, quintessential Norman village by the Seine. Located on the north bank of Normandy’s grandest river, near Vernon, it might have remained a quiet provincial spot if not for the arrival of Impressionist master Claude Monet in 1883. Monet’s long residence here transformed it into an artistic pilgrimage site, even during his lifetime.
- Palace of Versailles - The Palace of Versailles, or “Château de Versailles,” stands as one of France’s most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Initially constructed as a hunting lodge for Louis XIII, it was transformed by Louis XIV into the royal residence of the French court in 1682.
Discover the palace’s magnificent architecture, royal apartments, and the renowned Hall of Mirrors, famous for its 357 mirrors, gilded decorations, and garden reflections.
Explore the King and Queen’s Apartments, once used for official ceremonies and court life, lavishly adorned with marble and painted ceilings.
Designed by André Le Nôtre in 1661, the Gardens of Versailles boast elegant pathways, fountains, ponds, and sculptures, epitomizing French formal garden design.
During summer, visitors can enjoy the Musical Gardens and Fountain Shows.

Jardins du Chateau de Versailles - Our expert tour guide will showcase the highlights of the Gardens.
In 1661, Louis XIV commissioned André Le Nôtre to create the gardens of Versailles. This monumental task took about forty years, involving leveling spaces, landscaping garden beds, and creating ponds and the Canal. Louis XIV valued the gardens as highly as the palace. André Le Nôtre crafted the ultimate French Style garden: a terrace with a panoramic view, a geometric layout of axes, ponds, flowerbeds, and groves. The garden is designed like a building, offering a walk that plays with perspectives. Charles Le Brun designed numerous statues and fountains. With 221 sculptures, Versailles is the world’s largest open-air museum of sculptures. Fountains and groves embellish the gardens, which regularly hosted the King’s walks and court entertainment. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through Le Nôtre’s gardens.
Each summer, Versailles presents splendid entertainment in the gardens, allowing visitors to experience the grandeur of Louis XIV’s garden celebrations. Your guide will offer a visit to the musical gardens (Tuesdays from June to October) and the musical fountains show (Saturdays and Sundays from April to October).
