Amazing House and Gardens - We started in the Japanese Gardens and ended in the main gardens. The floral beauty was breathtaking. The house itself was filled with traditional and Japanese paintings both of which he loved to paint. The rooms were attractively decorated. My favorite was the stove in the kitchen

Giverny - Our guide was exceptional. On the way to Giverny he gave us a history of Monet’s life. We arrived at opening time and he guided us through the house before it got crowded. After that we were free to tour the gardens and pond. On the way back to Paris he pointed out places Monet had lived and painted. Finally he dropped us off in Paris at a very nice place for lunch. A great day.

Flowers, flowers flowers. - Even if you don't know anything about (impressionist) painting but only like flowers and gardens, the visit to the Monet house and gardens is worthwhile. A great experience with lush flowers. You have to be able to deal with the tourist crowds a bit. It's natural after Mont St. Michel the second attraction of Normandy. We had already visited a few times high-summer but now in the spring the flower garden was a splendour. The water lilies were not yet blooming but only the American, Japanese and Chinese tourists were sorry. The ponds remain fantastic and of course Monet was also about just the reflection of the light and the movement of the water.

Wonderful place to visit - Always wanted to visit and I wasn't disappointed. Travelling with my friend in my campervan, we were able to stay overnight in a large carpark where the buses park. There are no facilities but it was perfect. We bought tickets online giving us a time slot. The gardens, even in October, were beautiful. Still lots of lovely plants in bloom. The lily pond had a bit of scum on it and of course the lilies weren't blooming but we still enjoyed walking round. There were a lot of people so what would it be like in mid summer? The house was also lovely to visit. A very pleasant home I'm sure. Beautifully looked after. And of course the shop had marvellous gifts and books so we spent a few pounds. Next morning we walked into the village which is so pretty with a lot of history. Plus more lovely gardens. We also paid our respects to Monet's grave as well as to the grave of 5 young British airmen who crashed nearby and were all killed. Tragic. But a wonderful place to visit. My photos won't upload sadly

Do not miss this beautiful place - Monet's Gardens is exquisite. It was a beautiful experience. Ou tour was very good, and we learned a lot about Monet, but most of all we saw the beauty in the gardens. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting France.

Very interesting and worth a visit - Set in a peaceful area. The gardens are well laid out - complete with a pond. Lots of trees to provide shade in summer and a wide range of plants. Only problem is that it is very popular so sometimes it felt like a queue. I'd suggest going early in the morning to avoid this. Best time to go is probably summer but pleasant on a dry autumn day. Gift shop, car park and cafe. You can also visit inside the house which is interesting.
