Pyramids of Giza - Guests will be picked up from their hotel to begin a private Cairo day tour visiting the Pyramids of Giza. A captivating introduction to the three pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure will be provided. Visitors can enjoy free time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost), although the guide cannot accompany them inside. The tour continues to the Valley Temple of Chephren, where guests will stand before the Great Sphinx, a mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human head.
Memphis and Sakkara - The tour proceeds to Memphis, situated 20 km south of Cairo. Memphis was Egypt’s first capital, founded by Pharaoh Menes around 3000 B.C., according to legend. Although little remains of the city today, visitors can explore an open-air museum showcasing fascinating artifacts, including a massive statue of Ramses II and a sphinx.
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - The journey continues to Saqqara, the extensive ancient burial ground in Egypt, serving as the necropolis for the ancient capital Memphis.
