Pyramids of Giza - Guests will be picked up from their hotel to begin a private Cairo day tour visiting the Pyramids of Giza. A captivating introduction to the three pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure will be provided. Visitors can enjoy free time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost), although the guide cannot accompany them inside. The tour continues to the Valley Temple of Chephren, where guests will stand before the Great Sphinx, a mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human head.

Memphis and Sakkara - The tour proceeds to Memphis, situated 20 km south of Cairo. Memphis was Egypt’s first capital, founded by Pharaoh Menes around 3000 B.C., according to legend. Although little remains of the city today, visitors can explore an open-air museum showcasing fascinating artifacts, including a massive statue of Ramses II and a sphinx.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - The journey continues to Saqqara, the extensive ancient burial ground in Egypt, serving as the necropolis for the ancient capital Memphis. It is home to the renowned step pyramid of King Djoser and the burial site of the pyramid’s architect, Imhotep. Guests will be transferred back to their hotel in Cairo.

Day Tour to the Egyptian Museum and Saladin Citadel

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - The day begins with Khaled, who will escort guests with a private tour guide to visit the Egyptian Museum, including the Treasures Room of the child king Tutankhamen and many other intriguing artifacts. An additional visit to the museum’s mummy room is available.

Cairo Citadel - The tour then moves to the Saladin Citadel, including the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque.

Day Tour to Alexandria from Cairo

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Cairo and accompanied to Alexandria, Egypt’s second-largest city, founded by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. Upon arrival, the tour begins with a visit to the Catacombs of Kom El-Shuqqafa, a necropolis with three sub-levels dating from the 2nd century AD, blending Egyptian, Greek, and Roman cultural elements.

Pompey’s Pillar - The tour continues with a visit to Pompey’s Pillar, one of the largest monolithic columns ever erected, made from a single piece of Aswan red granite.

Bibliotheca Alexandrina - The tour proceeds to the Alexandria Library, a modern architectural marvel designed by a Norwegian firm, contrasting with Egypt’s ancient architecture. Guests have free time to explore the library, with a local guide available to show them around.

Coptic and Islamic Cairo Day Tour

Coptic Cairo - Guests will be picked up from their hotel and driven in an air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo. The tour includes visits to Cairo’s famous churches, such as the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, both built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon, possibly Cairo’s oldest structures. The Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), believed to be where the Holy Family sought refuge in a cave, is also included. This area is a renowned pilgrimage destination.

Islamic Cairo - After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo, the tour proceeds to Al-Azhar Mosque and the Islamic Cairo area, including the Sultan Hassan and Refaee Mosques. Finally, guests will visit Al-Muizz Street, surrounded by numerous mosques and madrasas. At the end of the day, guests will be driven back to their hotel in Cairo.
