The tour guide will collect guests from their hotel at 8:00 AM to embark on a full-day tour visiting the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, with insights from an Egyptologist guide. Guests will enjoy a panoramic view, capturing all pyramids in one photograph, and have the opportunity for a camel ride before transferring to the Sphinx.

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Guests can stroll around the Great Pyramids, touch them, and take memorable photos next to these magnificent structures. There is also time to explore the interior if desired.

Great Sphinx - The tour continues to the Great Sphinx, featuring a pharaoh’s head and a lion’s body, dating back to the time of Khephren. This Sphinx was built to guard King Chefren’s pyramid. Next, visit the Valley Temple, associated with the Pyramid of Chefren, which served as a mummification site before burial. The tour then proceeds to Memphis.

Memphis and Sakkara - Visit Memphis, established by King Menes, which served as Egypt’s capital during the Old Kingdom and was a cultural hub for over 3000 years. Guests will see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis before heading to the Sakkara Pyramids.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - The final stop is the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure, built for King Djoser during the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC), before returning to the hotel.

Day Tour Visit to the Egyptian Museum, Citadel & the Bazaar

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - A private tour guide will pick guests up from their Cairo hotel. On this private tour, the Egyptologist guide will lead a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to the treasures of Tutankhamun and statues of Akhenaton. Guests can also choose to visit the optional Mummy room. The museum houses approximately 250,000 artifacts. The tour will then proceed to the Salah El Din Citadel.

Cairo Citadel - Visit the stunning “Citadel of Saladin Al Ayouby,” constructed in the 12th century to protect Cairo from the Crusaders. The citadel served as the seat of the king and government for many centuries, with the Ayyubids, Mamluks, and some Ottomans ruling from there. The Great Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, a landmark in Cairo, stands on the highest point within the Citadel’s courtyard, known for its vast space, beautiful wall decorations, and remarkable domes and minarets. The tour guide and driver will then transfer guests to the Bazaar.

Khan Al-Khalili - Guests will explore the bustling Khan el Khalili bazaar in Cairo. This famous market, which may have inspired Christopher Columbus to seek America, offers stalls with handmade crafts, paper products, and local goods, providing an opportunity to practice bargaining skills. As this is a private tour, guests can decide how much time to spend at each location, ensuring a personalized experience. Travelers may also visit the Papyrus Institute to learn about this renowned artwork. Guests will be transferred back to their hotel after the trip.
