Full eyes - Exceptional!!! Don’t rely on the outbound transportation time (more than 8 hours of travel with incessant stops, departure at 12:30 arrival at 9am), the rest of the day is fabulous! We were greeted at the foot of the pyramids by Osama and his Egyptian accent, always available and rehearsing if we did not understand him and answered all our questions He took us 20€ per person to add a camel tour around the pyramids and a walk on the Nile, 10 if we only took one of the 2, but frankly do it, I think we could have negotiated but we were dazzled by the beauty of the landscape We were allowed to touch the pyramids, visit tombs and end the morning with the Sphinx from a distance but splendid. Then he took us to his boyfriend who sold perfumes and we went to lunch, think of your bottle of water the drink is paid for. Visit to the printing museum with very nice papyri (if you want, negotiate hard we went from 100€ displayed to 70€ with their discount and 45€ with mine) Then visit the ancient Egyptian museum, but there are mummies of the sarcophagi and many remains Finally walk on the Nile to end the day, romantic, there were 6 of us in the boat Return in 5h express To do!!!

Must do - Perfect day- got seen all the highlights in Cairo! The guide mamdue was a legend!! It doesn’t seem like a museum is so fun, but he was so engaging and good at telling so it became contagious and it became incredibly exciting to see the museum! Great that it was the same guide throughout the day, especially when he was so good! The drivers and were so nice! This tour is strongly recommended

Trip to Cairo from Hurghada. - The trip from Hurghada was long, 8hrs to Cairo and 6hrs back to Hurghada, left hotel at 01.00am.. Great small group of 10, our two drivers Mohammed and Hamed did a great job especially through the crazy traffic in Cairo. We met up with Hanna in Cairo who was our tour guide to our s3lected trips around Cairo. Arrived back in our Hurghada hotel at about 22.30..

It was a beautiful day - You can definitely recommend the tour. You get to see for a relaxed price what you would have to pay twice elsewhere. The hotel pickup worked smoothly. Personally, we are glad that we have not booked this tour with any other provider.

Be Prepared! - Be prepared for a 4.5 hour journey each way on a bumpy road. You will need lots of euros or dollars for the toilet and tips. Be wary of carriage drive at Giza as driver fleeced us for a 600 egyptian pound tip half way and the road is very rocky and hair-raising! Take water and snacks. Go for the Grand Museum which is the New Egyptian Museum. Be aware that monthly salary may be £100 hence constant demands for tips! The pyramids are stunning and very little time to wander in a very special place

5 Stars for Cairo, 2 Stars for the Service - The Pyramids and the museum were the highlights of our holiday, but the tour itself was mediocre. The drivers were silent for the entire 12-hour round trip and didn't explain the long security delays at night or for how long other stops were. Our guide's English pronunciation was poor, making it hard to understand much of the history, and the information provided was very basic. Great destination, but I’d recommend a different operator.

A very very long and tiresome day - The bus is meant for very small people and the trip to Cairo was approx. 8 hours long (not 5-6). If you’re taller than 1,75 it is not possible to fit your legs behind the seat in front of you. Drivers were really helpful and professional though. The guide was friendly and likely very knowledgeable- but unfortunately extremely difficult to understand. His command of English so limited that we understood less than half of his sentences. Level of information during the trip was critically low and guide seemed to be in constant hurry without explaining why or for what. The lunch “restaurant” is a canteen where there were multiple black hairs on the “clean” plates and inside the food itself. The papyrus place is not a museum, but a shop. The perfumerie was a very good experience with charming and informed staff At the end of the day, when everyone was really tired, the whole bus had to wait for two people who had booked a boat trip. This was an unwelcome surprise that delayed the departure for another hour. All in all 22 hours of which maybe 3-4 were enjoyable and in line with expectations…
