Excursion from Hurghada to Cairo and Luxor - We travelled as a family to Hurghada and left the organization to Cairo and Luxor by plane and hotel booking as well as transfer completely to Memnon. Super organized, punctual and reliable we were guided by the driver and guide through our complete desired program. In addition to lots of interesting information about the country, people and culture, we were able to laugh a lot and always felt very comfortable. It was very well spoken German and the rides were all air conditioned and we were provided with cool drinks and many goodies. We are so happy to have found this travel agency, we really had every wish read from our eyes. The trip was definitely adapted to our needs and wishes as a family. Best Tour Operator in Egypt - Over 650 Google reviews and none of them are negative. Like some reviewers before us, this surprised us, and we searched for the often cited body in the basement. So as not to increase the tension too much: there are none. Memnon Travel just keeps what they promise. On-time hotel pickup, hassle-free transfer to the airport, pickup at the destination airport, we couldn't have asked for it better. Our driver Ahmed navigated us safely through Cairo’s chaotic traffic and always provided us with fresh, cool drinks, while tour guide Jacob impressed us with incredibly deep and broad knowledge. The stroll through the old town was terrific - not to mention the best breakfast of our lives. Jacob navigated us to the exhibits in the museum and brought us closer to Egyptian history - as well as outside the museum - also in the context of world history. Whether pyramids, necropolis or old town, Jacob lives his enthusiasm for his city and his job. With it, you experience Cairo up close, see one or the other that might be hidden during another tour, and feel a special connection to the city and history. Of course you can see Cairo on your own, but then you lack the wealth of information you get on a guided tour. You can also opt for another provider and run the risk that you have seen little in the end, but bought a lot of perfume or papyrus instead, which has already been confirmed in the exchange with one or the other fellow traveler. For us, this tour was worth every penny, and if we could, we would award ten stars.

Very pleasant excursion - Very nice trip by van. Exhausting because about 6 hours drive. But we knew that before. Our local guide, Mohamed was great. A retired history professor. With super German. Very informative. Also the lunch afterwards was great. Inconspicuous from the outside, but a super nice oriental restaurant from the inside. Also the whole handling of Memnon travel worked great. All uncomplicated via whatsapp. Highly recommended.

Unforgettable trip to Cairo – history to touch! - Our day trip to Cairo was an absolute highlight! As soon as you arrived, you could feel the magic of this historic city. Visiting the Giza pyramids was simply breathtaking – a wonder of antiquity that must be seen once in your life. Our guide not only inspired us with exciting facts about the construction and history of the pyramids, but also carried us away with his humor and passion for Egyptian culture. His expertise is particularly noteworthy: He could answer any question – be it the symbolism of hieroglyphics, the pharaohs or the archaeological discoveries. He also had a great flair for photography and led us to the best spots to take memorable pictures – including tips for perspective and light! The Egyptian Museum was also an experience in itself. Thanks to the vivid narrative of our guide, you felt like you were on a journey through millennia. The Tutankhamun exhibition was a real highlight. An all-round successful day that was made an unforgettable experience by the kindness and expertise of our guide. Highly recommended!

Cairo excursion - On our Egypt vacation we were looking for a trip to Cairo. The reviews of the popular hotel providers did not appeal to us as they were reminiscent of coffee trips. We came across Memnon Reisen in our search and read their recessions up and down, but could not find a negative post. Of course, like many others, we wondered if this is a reputable provider, if we should really book this or if this is a risk. We dared and can say quite clearly that Memnon travel delivers what they promise. We felt safe and well looked after at all times! It is more expensive than the excursions offered in the hotels, but for us the excursion was worth every penny! We can highly recommend it to anyone. We also wrote a request via WhatsApp and received a reply from Osman a short time later with all the information. We decided to travel to Cairo by car. The comfort in the private car was very good. We were picked up in the morning punctually at 2:00 a.m. with a Toyota Corolla. The 6 hours outbound and 5 hours return were of course exhausting but passed quite quickly as we slept a lot. Sufficient breaks were also made. A huge respect to our driver who really drove all the way back and forth and also got us safely through the traffic chaos in Cairo. We found that the time spent was definitely worth it. As a guide, we had nobility who introduced us to Egyptian history, architecture and culture with a lot of knowledge and humor. Freely following his motto "Hot but nice" he guided us through the heat of Cairo and made our day truly unforgettable. We visited the Giza pyramids and the National Museum. We were protected from intrusive traders. And for us the most important thing, Adel left us everywhere as much time as we needed to look in peace, take photos etc. We were not rushed and so enjoyed Cairo quite relaxed. Finally we were able to book a Nile cruise for 15 € pP. We took the opportunity. But this is offered to you without any compulsion. So if you don't want to do that, you don't have to do it. A really delicious fresh lunch in a really nice and hygienic restaurant was also there. We really had nothing to complain about. And around 7pm we were back at the hotel. After the trip we were also asked directly via WhatsApp if everything was to our satisfaction or if there are problems/complaints. Here we could assure with a calm conscience that everything worked out great. If we come to Egypt again, next on our list is Luxor, of course with Menon travel.

Impressions we will never forget. - We had a wonderful day. The drivers and also the Egyptologist Essma get 12/10. We felt absolutely safe as we were traveling 19 hours. Through Essma we had impressive hours in Cairo. We devoured his knowledge and were flashed at the end of the day. We can recommend Memnon travel 100% in good conscience.

Gladly again !!!! - An incredibly dense, colorful and unforgettable day in Cairo with Yakub as a super-organized and competent tour guide, who always tried to make the program according to our wishes and who can tell by his joy in his work. Beautiful Private Day Tour to Cairo - We booked a day trip to Cairo with flight from Makadi Bay. Our tour guide Jakob was great, he showed us a lot and explained wonderfully. We had a car together with driver who knew Mega in Cairo and led us around most of the traffic jams. As a result, of course, we have seen quite different corners of Cairo, where you might not necessarily get to otherwise. All in all an unforgettable experience, any time again. Excursions at the top with Memnon - We (couple with 2 children aged 11 and 16) chose Memnon for the activity in Cairo (Airplane from Hurghada to Cairo with guide). An exceptional day from start to finish: punctuality of the driver to the guide Beshoy who speaks impeccable French and who is unstickable on the history of Egypt!!! We really enjoyed this excursion in private. So we chose Memnon again for the boat trip to see the dolphins in Hurghada: perfect also with our guide Mohamed. We were even able to swim with dolphins.
