A campfire in Wadi Rum magic - I joined this tour solo, hoping to explore safely and meet people. I didn’t expect to feel completely at home. The Wadi Rum night stole my heart—stars above, warm food below, and laughter around a campfire. I sat beside a young couple from Italy and a retired teacher from South Africa. We shared stories over flatbread, and someone passed a drum. That was the real magic—not the photos, but the feeling. The Rum Oasis camp was clean and cozy. Our guide made sure every solo traveler felt included. Thank you to the whole team—your professionalism built the trust I needed to enjoy every moment.

Tea, temples, and perfect timing - I came expecting to tick boxes—pyramids, Petra, done. But this trip offered something richer: stories, people, and presence. In Luxor, we arrived a bit early for one of the temple visits. Instead of wasting time, the guide invited us for tea at a small café run by locals. We chatted about family, travel, and life it felt authentic, not scripted. The logistics were flawless: licensed drivers, smooth transitions, and meals that didn’t disappoint. Staff at the hotels remembered our names and preferences by day two. This wasn’t a rushed group tour it was thoughtful and immersive. I left not just informed but inspired.

Cruising the Nile, tasting time - I was nervous traveling with my elderly parents. Would the schedule be too much? But the guide checked in daily, adjusted when needed, and always made sure they felt safe. The cruise itself was slow magic—each port a chapter. My daughter and I shared a sweet moment drinking juice on the deck while watching camels near the bank. I’ll never forget her face lit by the afternoon sun. Meals were fresh and satisfying, and the rooms were spotless. The staff on the Princess Sarah treated us with patience and care, always smiling. It was history, rest, and memory-making all at once—perfect for multigenerational travelers like us.

From pyramids to Petra, unforgettable - coupleWe expected a packed schedule, but what we got was a balanced blend of history, rest, and connection. From Giza to the rose city of Petra, each site was handled with great care. On day five, my partner lost his phone at a lunch stop. The guide made quick calls and the driver actually returned to the location and recovered it. That kind of commitment shocked us. The cruise was a relaxing contrast coffee, cake, and Nile views. The boat felt luxurious without being pretentious. We deeply appreciated the safety, clarity, and kindness shown throughout. Great Egypt Travel delivered more than a trip—they gave us peace of mind.

The train added a vintage charm - I wasn’t sure about taking a sleeper train—was it safe, clean, comfortable? But it turned out to be one of the highlights. The gentle rocking of the train lulled us to sleep, and waking up rolling into Luxor felt like something out of a novel. On night two, I ended up playing cards with a Jordanian couple in the dining cabin—we laughed over silly stories while sipping mint tea. That moment made the world feel small in a beautiful way. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The staff on both the train and cruise were professional, warm, and handled everything with seriousness.
