Love Maro, Maria and Ahmed! - Found them online with not much reviews, I really took a risk booking with them. Maro communicated with me swiftly before the booking the tour and really helped me understand everything and made me felt comfortable booking with him. Maria was the tour guide assigned to us. She was great and tolerating of our ignorance and showed high understanding of Egyptian history. Our driver Ahmed was awesome, I love hanging out with him!!! Great people over all, would love to book with them on our next Egypt trip to Luxor!

First time in Egypt - This was our first time in Egypt and we had a wonderful time.
We were promptly picked up from the airport by the driver and another member of the team. They helped us get through customs quickly and provided the visa.
From there we were taken to the hotel and started our tour the following morning.
Maria was our tour guide and Ahmed was our dedicated driver and both were excellent.
Maria knew so much about all the locations and was patient in explaining all the history and details to us. She would repeat the information till we understood and would quiz us later which I truly enjoyed! She was very kind, attentive, and had a great personality. She would recommend places to eat after our tour and ensured we felt comfortable the entire time. I was thoroughly impressed with her vast knowledge. It was a pleasure spending 4 days with her.
Ahmed was our driver and he was extremely skilled navigating the busy streets all throughout Egypt. He was a gentleman, always opened the door, brought snacks for us and always had a smile.
Part of the tour is visiting historical sites and part is going to government certified educational tours where you can purchase souvenirs after. There is no pressure to buy, the choice is yours but be prepared that is part of the tour. We did end up purchasing different items and regret nothing. We enjoyed the entire experience.
I would recommend this to my friends and family and hope you chose Egypt Planners for your trip!

Best Trip Ever with Great Guides - thank you egypt planners for such an unforgettable 12 days in egypt. everything was so well organized from start to finish.
Maro was wonderful – he helped us with all the planning before the trip, answered all questions so fast and made sure we feel comfortable.
our guide in cairo was Mai, she was amazing, very kind and full of knowledge. she made history fun and easy to understand, also showed us some local gems we would never find alone.
in upper egypt we had Mahmoud, he was the best. very funny, very patient, and he really cared that we enjoy every moment at the temples and nile cruise.
the hotels, transport, drivers all were great, always on time, always safe.
definitely recomended if you want to see Egypt the right way!

A gold standard and fun introduction to ancient Egypt and it's fascinating history 👏 - We spent two days in Cairo with Egytologist Maii and it was excellent. We visited the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum, Memphis and Dahshur. We were moved by her passion for all things ancient Egypt and very impressed with her knowledge and her first rate communication skills. She made it fun and educational (not an easy thing to achieve). I wholeheartedly recommend Maii and Egypt Planners. Noel and Jason

A Wonderful Journey to Magic Egypt! - We spent 10 days in Egypt with Maro and Egypt Planners and I can tell you that we had really well time.
Everything was well organized and our main occupation was just to relax, have fun and visiting wonderful places. We had private transportation from airport to hotel and to historical sites.
In our days, we were accompanied mainly by two great Egyptologist guide, Mr Doma and Mr Hamdy: their knowledge and passion really surprised us, moreover they were very friendly and nice and helped us in any situation!
In Cairo the choose for us an hotel that was new and comfortable, with a wonderful on Giza Pyramids! The cruise in the Nile was just amazing and 5 stars, very comfortable and with delicious and various food.
In our last day, Maro wanted to meet us personally: he is a very gently and friendly guy!
We came back from Egypt not only with eyes full of wonderful places, but also with new Habibi friends.
We can just highly recommend Egypt Planners!

Highly recommended - The team has tailored the plan to meet our specific needs and will provide a detailed itinerary based on the significance of the destinations. Mr. Marwan Maro the managing director personally calls at end of each day during the tour to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of particilants.

Fantastic private tour of Sakkara, Dashkur, Memphis - Amazing experience with a friendly guide D who formatted the tour as we had asked. Very professional but also fun. I am a big traveller and normally I do everything independently, but Egypt is one of those places where I believe you really benefit from a private guide. Just trust that they know what they are doing and enjoy the experience
