The Egypt tour guide from Our Visitors will greet and transport guests from their hotel to the Giza Plateau to explore the remarkable three Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, which are protected by the iconic rock-carved statue, The Sphinx. The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the sole surviving wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world, despite being 2,000 years older than any other wonder on the list.
Next, guests will visit the Saqqara Complex, belonging to King Zoser, featuring his step pyramid, recognized as the first pyramid in Egypt and the first rock-cut structure in history.
Following this, the tour proceeds to Dahshur. The pyramid field of Dahshur is located approximately 10 km south of Saqqara. This site includes the renowned Bent and Red Pyramids, constructed by the 4th Dynasty King Senefru, father of Khufu, the builder of the Great Pyramid. The Bent Pyramid is the second funerary monument in King Senefru’s Complex, following the Meidum Pyramid, and is notable for its unique shape.
