Fantastic visit to Egypt with Ahmed Nashaat--loved it! - Ahmed Nashaat was our guide in Cairo and on a cruise down the Nile from Aswan to Luxor. He was fantastic: attentive, knowledgeable and responsive. He knew all the best tricks to get the most efficient use of time and beat the crowds to sites at the best (coolest) time of the day. We saw all the things that we expected from the tour plus he added a little trip to see how alabaster was cut by hand when thought about buying some alabaster. He also took us to hear how papyrus was fashioned into paper when i asked to see a papyrus plant. All the little details--we felt very well taken care of. When my husband needed some help due to an eye problem, he took us to a pharmacy and stayed to translate the concern with the pharmacist. We highly recommend Ahmed!
