Highly Recommended! - Highly recommended by the Stokes Travel Agency in Illinois (USA), Ahmed, Mohammed and Sayed were wonderful! Interactions with the team were pleasant and professional. For my weeklong stay, Mohammed accompanied me on all of my excursions in Giza, Cairo, and New Cairo. There was a good balance of "tour guide infotalk" and alone time to explore on my own. Pros: Ahmed did a wonderful job of coordinating my itinerary and lodging. I gave him a description of what I wanted to experience and he executed well. I got to do mostly everything on my list of things to do and see. I couldn't be happier in this regard because it saved me lots of headaches. Cairo is a busy place, making reservations online is sometimes unreliable, and I know maybe three words in Arabic, so Ahmed's assistance here was greatly appreciated! Communication via Messenger and WhatsApp was always prompt and professional, too. Mohammed, the tour guide, was very kind and seemed knowledgeable of Egyptian history. I enjoyed learning the history of various sites we visited, especially the Alabaster Mosque and the Coptic church. At the museum, it was nice to learn info not printed next to each artifact. At the pyramids, Mohammed provided lots of interesting info about the area, the Sphinx, and more. Plus he took really good pictures! He did this at each site we visited. As a person of color, it can be tricky to capture good photos when the sun is behind me. But he pulled it off! I'm not the Instagram-prima donna type that gets dressed up for pictures while traveling, but I do appreciate a few good pics that authentically capture the moment, and he did just that! Mohammed was also thoughtful, attentive, and patient. There was a bottle of cold water usually waiting for me after an excursion. I arrived late on my first night. The hotel restaurant was closed, so Mohammed went and purchased a rather tasty sandwich for me. He also helped me avoid getting scammed/ charged extra for items I purchased at the market. Thinking of which, be wary. Vendors will tell you that their products are "handmade" when they are really made in China. (I wasted a few bucks on a "handmade" cartouche bracelet and necklace that I'll end up using for crafting instead of gifting.) In another instance, a vendor tried to charge me $55 for two items, but Mohammed spoke up and the total was only $35. This was very helpful. Sayed, the driver, was friendly, on time, and proved to be a very safe driver which is VERY IMPORTANT on the streets of Giza and Cairo where painted lines to indicate driving lanes are for decoration, and traffic lights are few. I also appreciate that he played a balance of American music and Egyptian/Arabic music. I liked the Egyptian/Arabic music more. I have no idea of what they are saying but I really enjoy listening to songs in other languages and hearing different instruments and instrumental arrangements. His car was clean, well- maintained, with air-conditioning as well. I am **so happy** it did not smell like cigarette or tobacco smoke at all. Cons: They took me to two places that I wasn't interested in at all ( a papyrus shop and an essential oil shop). From YouTube, I suppose a lot of tour guides do this. It was interesting to learn how they used papyrus to make paper, but I had zero interest in making a purchase and felt bad about wasting the young lady's time. Same goes for the oil. It seems that tourists are taken here as part of the network of stops or something. I would have appreciated the *option* and perhaps a little transparency. Something along the lines of "We usually take our tourists to these two shops, one for authentic papyrus and the other for essential oils. We can go there now IF you'd like, but if not, we can take you to-place of your choice-. This would have helped me make an informed decision and avoid feeling pressured. It would have also given me the option to go elsewhere and perhaps purchase what I actually wanted. So for **any** tour guide you go with, just make sure you indicate whether or not you are interested in these two places. I would have been more interested to visit a market that sells spices. Other than that, no cons. Just for fun: Mohammed is a young guy who is very intelligent, kind, and respectful. And he's clever. I purchased my cartouches (x3) through one of his contacts. Now, if you ask three different jewelry sellers or tour guides about the hieroglyphs in your personalized cartouche, you'll get three different answers. Mohammed probably didn't know that I knew this already. So when he offered to tell me the meaning behind each symbol, I decided to play along. (For me, this would become the third explanation for the letters in my name that I'd heard while in Egypt.) For the H, P, and E, he described several pleasant aspects of my personality that he'd observed. But for the O, he made me laugh. He said something along the lines of "Round. It means big belly...you eat too much." 😂🤣😂 I laughed because I do have a "big belly." I didn't take offense at all. It's all love! I just had to write this here so he would know that this old lady arrived in Egypt a week ago; she wasn't born a week ago. In fact, she's quite witty and clever herself😉 Overall, I highly recommend using this team. I felt safe and protected at all times and enjoyed good conversations at Egyptian history. This team represents their families and the country of Egypt very well. Also, I am visiting during Ramadan. This team was fasting all day and STILL delivered **exceptional**service! I can only imagine how great they are when working fully hydrated and nourished! I will seek their services again when I return and have already recommended them to friends and family.

I would recommend this tourist group for all my friends coming to visit. We also had an amazing driver, Nour, who kept us safe and was able to manage to crazy steers of Cairo and Giza. I can’t wait for the next days adventures. 10 out of 10 recommend….

Amazing breathtaking experience! - Let’s begin…Muhammad (our guide) is the most welcoming and warm soul. His smile and kind spirit is infectious. He made us feel very comfortable and safe the entire day. It was as if we’ve known him for years. He has a wealth of knowledge and provided us with Egypt’s rich history. He took us places to shop away from all of the aggressive street vendors so we were much more at ease. A bonus about Muhammad is he is also a photographer so the pictures he took of us were on point! Let’s talk about Nour (our driver). He’s quiet but friendly and his driving skills are great being that Egypt seems to have bad drivers. He kept us safe! Overall, this tour was a 15/10! We had an amazingggggg time!!!

A perfect day at the pyramids, sphinx, and museum - Today is was absolutely amazing, our guide Muhammad was extremely knowledgeable, a wiz with a camera, and fun to be around. I would definitely want him to be me, and any family that comes to Eygpt’s guide. This was by far the best part of my week long trip so far.

Very systematic planned trip - Our trip in Egypt was really one of a kind experience all because of one guy Mohammed from Cairo. He is the best guide from Jakada tours. Mostly all our flights were late night but he made sure we were always comfortable and safe everywhere. He is not only kind but also has a deep knowledge of all the places we visited as he has a degree in Egyptian history and Egyptology. Also he made sure all our timings were flexible and according to our comfort. Mohammed and Sayed ( the guy who drove us around) are the best pair and we would really want to visit again with them.
