An unforgettable day exploring the pyramids with a true expert - I would wholeheartedly recommend Ahmed Elsayed as an archaeology guide and expert.
Ahmed guided us through an exceptional full day exploring the evolution of the pyramids, beginning with the Step Pyramid, moving through the Bent and Red Pyramids, and culminating at the Giza Plateau. Visiting these sites in sequence brought the story of ancient Egyptian engineering and belief systems to life in a way that would not have been possible without his depth of knowledge and narrative skill.
He is an outstanding storyteller — deeply knowledgeable, engaging, and able to translate complex archaeological and historical detail into a compelling, human story. His passion for the subject is evident, and he struck the perfect balance between academic rigour and accessible explanation.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and felt genuinely enriched by it. Ahmed made the day both educational and memorable, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a thoughtful, insightful, and well-structured exploration of Dashur and the pyramids.

This tour was very... - This tour was very insightful. I actually learn something and got a chance to see things up close. The guide taught the proper way to pronounce the kings names and how to recognize some of the hieroglyphics.

We booked late the night... - We booked late the night before our tour and received confirmation in a timely manner.
Our guide, Dr Mohamed Youssef, brought such a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our private tour. As an archaeologist, he was able to give us special insight into processes and discoveries and answered all of my questions with great patience! He was enthusiastic and taught us to read some of the hieroglyphs that we saw and pointed things out along our drive so we could learn things about current Egyptian culture too. He also stuck with us through a sand and dust storm, uncomfortable though it was!
The tour included a stop at a papyrus store where we were shown how papyrus is made.

Private & complete tour of Giza! - My family and I spent a wonderful day visiting Giza with our private guide Nabil! Nabil knew how to explain the whole history surrounding the great pyramids, it was very interesting! We had a busy schedule of visits, so we were sometimes a little rushed to take our photos quickly. We still enjoyed our day of visiting!

Very fast - Pros: a certain flexibility in the choice of attractions, it took a firm no to the prospect of visiting the papyrus museum and perfume shop. Cons: all done quickly, without great explanation. We had chosen this tour in Italian and at the last moment we had the guide in English.
