The tour continues to the valley temple, where the king’s body was mummified, and concludes with the Sphinx, known for its human head and lion body, serving as a tomb protector. After this experience, the journey proceeds to Saqqara, a 40-minute drive from the Giza plateau, where Egypt’s first pyramid was constructed.
- Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara is one of Egypt’s largest attractions and serves as an open-air museum, featuring numerous monuments from the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms. It houses the step pyramid, or the pyramid of King Zoser, the first pyramid built in ancient Egypt.
