Pyramids Giza Tours - Upon arrival at Cairo airport, an Emo Tours guide will greet you to begin a full-day tour. Visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, followed by the Valley Temple where King Chephren’s body was mummified. Here, you will also see The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the grand funeral complex.

Khafre’s Pyramid - The complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, discovered by Mariette in 1860.

Menkaure Pyramid - This complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added.

Great Sphinx - Dating back to King Khafre’s reign, the Sphinx had a new temple dedicated to Hauron-Haremakhet by Amenhotep II during the New Kingdom, with later additions by subsequent rulers.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Continue the tour at the Egyptian Museum, showcasing the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art. It features over 250,000 genuine artifacts, some dating back 5,000 years, including a special exhibit of Tutankhamon’s treasures, gold, and jewelry, buried for over 3,500 years until discovered in the 1920s.

Khan Al-Khalili - Visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, known for its shops trading in fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day Tour to Alexandria from Cairo

Alexandria - After breakfast at the hotel, depart at 7:00 am for Alexandria in a modern A/C vehicle. Upon arrival, visit the Roman Theater, which features marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths. Then, visit Pompey’s Pillar, followed by the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, which include the Triclinium and 2nd Century AD statues of Sobec and Anubis in Roman armor.

Continue to Elsawary, Montazha Garden, Alexandria Library, and view Qaytbay Citadel and El Mursi Abu Elabas from the outside. Return to Cairo for an overnight stay.

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - This historical archaeological site in Alexandria is one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. The necropolis includes Alexandrian tombs, statues, and artifacts from the Pharaonic funeral cult with Hellenistic and early Imperial Roman influences.

Pompey’s Pillar - A Roman triumphal column in Alexandria, erected in honor of Augustus Diocletian between 298-302 AD. The Corinthian column originally supported a colossal statue of the emperor in armor, located beside the ruins of the Serapeum of Alexandria.

Fort Qaitbey - View the Qaytbay Citadel and El Mursi Abu Elabas from the outside, with an opportunity for a leisurely walk along the Corniche.

Lunch is provided at a local restaurant, offering a full meal for each person, though beverages are not included.
