• Giza Plateau - The tour begins at 8:00 am with a convenient pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza. Your guide will escort you to the Giza Pyramids to commence your half-day tour, where you will explore the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.

There is an opportunity to enter the Pyramids or enjoy a camel ride around the magnificent pyramids, although these activities may incur additional charges.

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only fully preserved likeness of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine discovered in a temple ruin from a later period at Abydos in 1903. Other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many of Khufu’s buildings are lost. Information about Khufu is derived from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents. For instance, Khufu is a central figure in the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, with some discovered in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860. Additional statues were found during subsequent excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx - Conclude your tour with a visit to The Valley Temple, where the priests mummified the body of King Chephren. Here, you will have a close-up view of The Sphinx - the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren. It’s an ideal spot for capturing amazing photos with the Sphinx in various amusing poses, and your guide will be happy to assist you.

Once the tour concludes, you will be transported back to your hotel.
