Unreal experience - Such a fun experience, Ali made sure we were all looked after and gave us ice cold water before and after quad bikes. Mohammed and Ibrahim accompanied us on the journey as we had a child and senior. They were very patient with us and made sure we had the best time!! Thank you 🙏🏼

A fun time that I completely recommend - Ali was out guide for this experience and we appreciated his insight and attention. As other reviews mention, Ali or whoever meets you at pickup does not go on the ATV tour with you. In our case, Ali was still very involved and took ownership of the entire experience. He made us feel comfortable to request what we wanted and not include anything we were not interested in. The sights and the riding for the tour itself were very fun. We had a good amount of autonomy on where to go, and didn't feel excessively limited on speed or adventure. Towards the end of riding around, the man that took us on the ride called Ali and Ali spoke with us before leaving. By that time we had really enjoyed all we saw, but Ali asked if we wanted to see anything else, take more pictures, or ride around more. We took him up on riding some more and was very happy about that. Even the ride from the ATV garage to the desert was a cool experience! We were told it was dirty, that may be a complaint other have, but riding through the town was an added adventure on its own. We had coffee and tea at a local cafe afterwards and appreciated talking with Ali about his experience in Cairo. It was a great atmosphere that was a bit of a needed break from the constant stream of tourism and history. In a city with so much to learn and do, it was nice to have time to relax and talk with our guide as friends. I highly encourage others to communicate their interests to their guides for this experience. Everyone was very receptive and helpful.

super - It was fun and we had a great time, even my two sisters could come with us and enjoy the quading. I really recommend to give it a try.

Quad bike with pyramids view - They accompanied us to take the quad bikes to go around the small dunes in the desert overlooking the pyramids. The ride was good and lasted just right. The one I was assigned was squirting engine oil on the right gama and burning. Despite this we had fun and took some nice pictures.

A must experience in the desert 🔥 - It was a very good experience! Very good photos and a lot of fun! Wish it lasted longer. Absolutely recommended for everyone.

ATV Pyramids - 2 hour tour - The ATV riding was loads of fun but if you have gone ATVing before, you probably will be bored. We were a group of two - me and my son. The guide rode in the front of one of the ATVs instead of riding his own. As a result he tended to control how fast and where that ATV would go. It was still a lot of fun but a bit of a dissapointment if you were expecting to have free reign of the ATV Two hours was a better length of time instead of 1 hour. It takes about 10 minutes to get from the shop to the sand - riding the ATV through the streets of Giza

beautiful experience, the... - beautiful experience, the guys made us immediately at ease, we visited some streets of the city and then delve into the desert, giving us the view of a wonderful landscape

Good drive experience but could be better - We are a family of 5 with 3  teens. We were picked up by our tour guide Ali and driver Taher at 8.30am and taken to the shop.  Quad bikes were lined up outside so we were quickly seated and some instructions were given on safety. The tour guide stays behind and a different guide accompanies you on the desert.  This guide sat at front of my son's quad bike and took us for the drive of the route. We set off in a line navigating the city side streets traffic for about 15 mins them reached the desert.  We followed the guide on the route on the dunes and stopped for photos with the Pyramids in the background. The drive on the dunes was amazing.   It can get dusty so  would recommend face coverings.  When we stopped a 2nd time at the same spot of the photos break, the guide sat with a man  for 10 mins chatting then took 1 of the quad bikes and left.  The man approached us and said to sit in shade and offered us  water.  As water was part of package, we took the water from him but were then charged inflated price for the water. The guide came back and called the tour guide and passed me the phone.  A few heated words were exchanged, however we just paid the man and left and continued our drive.  Again the actually driving experience is amazing.  After about an hour we made our way back to the shop where Ali and driver were waiting to take us back to the hotel.  Ali offerred us the money we paid for water as it was supposed to be included, nice gesture but we didnt take it. What to look out for. Take a backpack of water with you, bottles of water were part of our package, however we didnt get any water before we set off on quad drive so were very thirsty in the August mid morning heat.  You get the option of times when booking so I picked 8am as start time so expected an earlier pick up time of aroud half 7 but tour guide messaged early morning of day of tour to say 8.30 pick up as the quad bike shop doesnt open until 9.  Why give an 8am option then? Check how many hours of driving you are getting and get this confirmed by the tour company beforehand.   Our booking clearly stated 2 hours drive plus travel time but 1st thing tour guide said was the 2 hours includes travel time. There are animal carcasses including horses and camels  on the route within the city and on the sand dunes so you may want to factor this if taking children.
