Amazing tour with Finn - I went on the tour by myself as a sole female traveler from Germany. I have never been to the highlands before but I always wanted to go. My tour guide Finn was very welcoming and made me feel always safe and relaxed. He was also very informative and answered all of my many questions. He told different stories about the history, the culture and the people of Scotland and the highlands. In between he sprinked jokes and he had also an awesome playlist! My favourite on the trip with Finn were the views at Glen Coe. I also liked to explore the different villages and scenic view points we stoped at. The places we visited inspired me to go and explore more of the highlands. In general it was an amazing tour and I would very much recommend Finn as a guide and the company in general!😊

3 day Skye tour - Colin was our guide for the 3 days. He was great. He gave us a great tour and we would highly recommend him. He was funny and helpful at every stop. He even stopped to let us take pictures of sheep and hairy coo.

Ask for guide-come-driver Fionn Gale from Discover Scotland Tours for a memorable experience of the Scottish Highlands. He is ju - We started from Edinburgh as a small group well on time and our guide Fionn skillfully drove us through the Highlands, regaling us with great stories of Scottish history. He has a wealth of knowledge and a good sense of humour too. Besides being very polite and a thorough gentleman Fionn also has a superb play list of songs to keep his guests well entertained all through the way. The route passes through the serene Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, into the beautiful scenic Valley of Glencoe up to the historic hamlet of Fort Augustus at the southern tip of the mysterious Loch Ness. The whisky ice cream recommended by Fionn at the small town of Pitlochry on our return is a great recommendation. Finally a drive through the picturesque Perthshire and back to the Lowlands towards Edinburgh signals an end to the long but amazing day. Thoughtful toilet breaks, cute places to eat, a comfortable bus with large windows to enjoy the views and Fionn for a driver cum guide is the ideal way to experience the Scottish Highlands. Must do. Amazing experience - The meeting point was easy enough to find, as per the directions in the ticket. The tour bus was pretty comfortable considering we spent an entire day traveling. The driver/tour guide (Marc) was amazing: very considerate throughout the day with all the group's needs, drove carefully in all the trickier parts of the journey as to avoid passengers discomfort, gave us tips on how to get the best out of every location we stopped at and tried giving us the best experience despite the moody weather. The itinerary itself was really good. Got to experience a little bit of the Scottish Highlands and the Lowlands on the way back. Information provided was really good too: a blend of historical facts, folklore and movie references. All in all, a truly rich experience. Marc did a really good job.

Recommend this tour and Clyde - Definitely recommend this tour - we got some excellent photos despite a rainy day and learnt a lot. I liked that we had a small group because we weren't always having to wait for everyone to get on and off the ride. Clyde was a wonderful guide - we were a bit of a shy group but he tried his best with interesting stories and cheeky jokes. I loved his Scottish accent and kilt - just added to the experience. We could hear him well on the tour through a car microphone. The ride was great - air conditioning, clean windows, and nice seats. The ride is long though. A small seat pillow and seat pocket to hold items could improve the experience. You don't need to bring food - there are opportunities to buy coffee and lunch etc on the tour. There are enough toilet stops. There's not that much walking - you can get away with boots or leisure shoes. But I'd suggest to bring cash to go on the Loch Ness cruise if you're interested.

Disappointed to travel with a car - The driver had a very strong Scottish accent, which I couldn't quite understand to be honest, and was full of words along the way, too many of which affected the rest. What really matters is not repeated. For example, a Loch Ness ferry ticket has to be booked in advance and may not be available when it arrives. The only one who stays longer than half an hour is Loch Ness. The first train is out of tickets, and the second train will take longer than he stays. "I don't think so," he said. Various other words are spoken nonstop along the way, and their effects rest. A few places are full of walk-throughs, and this $191 is actually a drive-through fee, and it's not driving well, and the point is not clear. Disappointed.
