Super tour at Tennents. - Great tour, really got to see behind the scenes at a truly historical brewery. Young Hugh Tennent we truly salute you, though I have to say Calum ran young Hugh a close second. Calum was informative, friendly and threw in just the right level of humour to go with it, and all washed down with a lovely crisp pint of Tennents at the end.

Overall the whole experience was electric. Everything was explained well and clearly. - Absolutely amazing! Mars was an extremely informational, confident and seemingly well experienced tour guide. Everything that he had said during the tour was said confidently and with chest. Absolutely loved my time here definitely worth coming back for! The beginning of the tour was full of information about the company and where its roots are. The information was conveyed extremely clearly and flowed as information should by Mars (our tour guide) he was extremely cheerful during the tour and answered questions with ease and was able to explain every process (without sharing world class secrets 😉) confidently and in a way that was easy for anyone to understand, Even the science talk! Moving on to the tour itself there are a few flights of stairs to climb but there are hand rails and Mars was extremely accommodating in this aspect, providing longer times for those who may not be as physically capable. The tour itself lasts roughly 1 hour but is jam packed with cool facts, wonderful photo opportunities and a great tour guide. At the end of the tour you are brought up into the bar and given a full sized pint or other alternative if you don’t drink or don’t enjoy a nice, well poured pint of cold Tennent’s. Things to give thought to is we came on a Saturday to the tour and production doesn’t run during that time. We were told the best time to come if you want to see things such as the canning or bottling procedure is Tuesday to Thursday. The centre is wheelchair friendly although the tour is not.

Excellent tour, and amazing tour guide - Tony, our tour guide, was amazing. He was informative, and very funny! The tour takes around 1 hour, finishing up at the bar. You get a full sized free pint of tennents unpasteurised. You can also stay and have more drinks if you like.
