Informative and lively tour of central Glasgow’s history, landmarks, and notable figures. - Excellent guide Luke, a native Glaswegian, was full of anecdotes and wry commentaries on his city. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and his excellent leadership.

Excellent tour - I loved how passionate Martin was about the city of Glasgow and its history. But he also told stories about the city in ways that made sense — it was easy to follow his narrative. I really appreciate how he told the story of slaveholding that underpinned the wealth of Glasgow’s titans. Martin had excellent voice projection — his actor training showed. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about aspects of Glasgow that interest me.

A must do in Glasgow - Great tour of area, Gordon was funny and gave you a taste of Glasgow. The stories were entertaining and gave us some insight on the city. I think if you don't take a tour like this you miss out on a lot of details. For one, the measuring system they started using in 1882 for trade and how the use of coal affected the buildings. Gordon even recommended some good places to eat. I walked away loving the tour. AND finally got a good explanation for the cones they put on statues. You'll have to take the tour to find out.

Enjoyable, interesting and thorough walking tour of Glasgow with a local expert! - Our guide was Luke. Luke was very passionate, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He began with some helpful background history on Scotland and Glasgow, before taking us on a thorough tour of key historical landmarks. There was a nice mixture of older history and modern social history and culture, as well as natural humour. We also liked the fact that Luke helpfully pointed out various eating places, pubs, music venues and so on that he has enjoyed visiting. We were able to have coffee and lunch in one of these after the tour and it was really interesting to visit and high in quality. Luke also helpfully answered our questions. He is clearly an expert on the city. The price was fair given the quality and length of the tour. Thank you for an excellent and enjoyable tour!

Best intro to Glasgow - Interesting and entertaining introduction to Glasgow. Two hours in the biting cold sped past as Gorden Hart regaled us about the legend of St Mungo, excesses of tobacco barons, unique architecture, where to eat haggis, why so many Americans in Detroit and Philidelphia are surnamed Buchanan ...
