1. Gear Selection: Purchasing tripping gear can be daunting and costly. We assist you by showcasing and discussing various equipment, such as sleeping systems, tents, water filtration, and camp stoves.
2. Packing: Discover how and what equipment and clothing to pack.
3. Food: Explore different backcountry food options.
4. Selecting & Setting up your Campsite: Learn how to be “Bear Wise” and stay safe during adverse weather conditions.
5. Map Reading & Trip Planning: Understand the basics of map reading and route planning.
6. Paddling & Hiking: Acquire basic hiking techniques and/or paddling strokes and portaging tips.
