Full Day at Naadam Festival
Ulaanbaatar - 11 Jul- 2 day: Attend the opening ceremony of the Naadam Festival at the Ulaanbaatar national stadium. This is Mongolia’s largest, most vibrant, and significant annual cultural event, featuring three sports: horse racing, Mongolian-style wrestling, and archery. These skills are rooted in the legendary military prowess of Genghis Khan, who led the largest empire in history.
• At 8 am, be picked up from the hotel lobby to join the Naadam group and visit the central Naadam stadium.
• Visit the stadium for the ankle-bone shooting competition.
• Next, explore the archery field, where men and women in colorful ethnic costumes shoot arrows from their bows.
• Wander outside the Naadam stadium to see locals in national costumes, and explore food and trade corners.
• Enter the main stadium for the Naadam Festival’s opening ceremony.

Kharkhorin - Erdenezuu, the first and largest monastery in Mongolia, was constructed in 1586 using materials from the destroyed city of Kharakhorum. Visit the monastery museum to see valuable religious artifacts and admire its stunning architecture. Attend a morning chant at an active temple. Then, visit the Kharakhorum Museum to view items from the ancient city of Kharakhorum.
Terkh Tsagaan Nuur National Park
Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park - A natural highlight of Arkhangai province, the breathtaking Khorgo Terkhiin Tsagaan National Park features two famous attractions: Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, also known as the Great White Lake, and the dormant Khorgo volcano. Covering 77,267 hectares, the area is rich in wildlife and flora, designated as a national park to protect its stunning mountain scenery and endangered species. The 2,210 m high Khorgo volcano, one of 10 in the park, became extinct about 8,000 years ago. Its northern slope is covered by a larch tree forest, and its crater is 200 m in diameter and 70-80 m deep. Visitors can climb the volcano using stairs and trails, and upon reaching the top, walk along the rim for outstanding views of the surrounding areas, including a small village and a bird’s eye view of Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake.

Mongolia - Travel approximately 30 km from Tsagaan Nuur town to the starting point of the horseback journey. Meet the horse guide, load gear and supplies onto the horses, and begin the ride. Stop for lunch along the way, then continue riding about 30 km to reach the Reindeer family.

Mongolia - On the 12th day, stay with a Tsaatan family to experience their lifestyle and daily activities. Enjoy riding horses and reindeer, and try milking a reindeer. Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Mongolia - After breakfast, pack luggage onto the horses and depart from the Tsaatan family. Stop to prepare lunch, then ride about 30 kilometers on horseback. Meet the driver at the end of the ride and return by car to the accommodation in Tsagaan Nuur village.
