Following this, the excursion will proceed to Cape Figari, a stunning limestone cliff overlooking the sea, or to Cape Ceraso with its charming inlets. The best spots for a refreshing swim and a light snack on board will be chosen based on wind conditions.
This remarkable tour also offers the chance to spot dolphins in these waters, drawn by the area’s fish farming. On fortunate occasions, these magnificent creatures may approach, allowing for close-up views as they swim alongside the boat, or they can be observed from afar without disrupting their natural activities. An experienced guide will provide fascinating insights and curiosities about these rare encounters.
- The chance of spotting dolphins is 80%, however, from June to September, the flow of boats increases and this can frighten and drive away dolphins
- Dolphins are wild animals and we will try to interfere as little as possible with their activities and behaviour
- If there are too many boats in the sighting area we will move away to limit the disturbance to the dolphins
- If you spot dolphins we ask that you do not raise your voice, do not give/throw food to them, do not try to touch them
