- Golubac Fortress - Golubac Fortress was among the top three locations considered for filming the renowned “Game of Thrones” series. Situated at the entrance to the Iron Gate, the longest gorge in Europe, it was originally constructed by the Hungarians, known as Galambocz, on the same site as the Roman Castrum Columbarum. The fortress was seized by the Turks in 1391 and changed hands several times before being finally reclaimed by the Serbs in 1867. Visitors can capture stunning photos of the fortress, explore the gallery in the Visitor Center, and enjoy a scenic walk along the Danube River with a beautiful view of the Iron Gate. During the summer season (June 1st - October 1st), after visiting Golubac Fortress, enjoy a 1-hour speedboat ride on the Danube River to see the fortress from the water.
- Golubac - A short drive to Golubac town, where the speedboat departs. The speedboat circles the fortress and travels along the Danube’s widest point, including the entrance to the Iron Gates. After the speedboat ride, there is free time for lunch at a local restaurant in Golubac town.
- Pruna Distillery And Winery - After lunch, visit a local rakija distillery to observe the entire production process of Serbia’s cherished fruit brandy. Enjoy a guided tasting of three rakija varieties, each accompanied by traditional local meze.

Excellent tour! - Milan is a fantastic tour guide. He is very warm and welcoming, and is passionate about Serbian history. I went as a solo person on this trip and enjoyed myself with the group. We shared laughs and experiences between each other. The boat ride was really fun - just keep in mind that the water will splash on you, so if you don’t like a sprinkle of water, don’t go. The restaurant that Milan took us to was really nice. The distillery was also lovely! The jam they served us was amazing. It was a really cold day, so I suggest if you’re going in autumn to rug up and wear a leather jacket to stop the wind from blowing through. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is wanting to learn more about Serbia.

Golubac - The trip to Golubac was great. Our tour guide Aleks was very knowledgeable gave us every necessary information about history of Serbia not only about Golubac. We ate delicious lunch together and we all feel comfortable in our company. Weather was not great..frankly speaking ...but you know what? it didn't spoil our fantastic mood😊Thanks Aleks😊
