While sightings are not guaranteed, there is a high chance of encountering a variety of wildlife and marine life up close like never before! With more than 14 years of experience, we are committed to providing an unforgettable tour!
- Must be 5 years of age or older to be a passenger. Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid drivers license to operate.
- It is required that there is 2 people on each craft (excluding the guide boat). One person must ride with the guide for groups with an odd number of participants
- Weight Limit is 250lbs per person (2 persons per boat) with no exceptions. This is not our policy but the weight capacity for the vessel. No refunds will be given to those who show up for their tour not meeting the vessel weight requirements.

Perfect Florida Water Tour 🌴🐬 - Andrew was an excellent guide for our backwater adventure! The CraigCat boats were a blast to drive, and he made the entire experience fun, safe, and informative. We cruised through beautiful Florida backwaters, spotted dolphins up close, and stopped for some shelling too. Andrew’s knowledge of the area and relaxed personality made the tour even better. Highly recommend this trip if you want a unique and memorable way to explore Florida’s waterways. Thanks for a fantastic day on the water! 🌴🐬

Fun Experience - This late afternoon excursion was a lot of fun. We had never seen these "boats" before. Andrew did a great job as guide through the mangroves. We did see a few dolphins out for a late afternoon. We did get a little wet, especially our feet, so be prepared.

Backwater Adventures CraigCat Tour - Excellent experience, lots of fun. We got to see several dolphins. Andrew was a great tour guide making sure everyone was safe, having fun and providing some history of the area along the way. We took the 2 1/2 hour tour . Definitely recommend this tour with Backwater Adventures!

Absolute adventure - This was an absolute blast! Didn’t originally feel like 2.5 hrs was going to be enough time. It was. We saw dolphins in a couple area and our guide was great at stopping and pointing them out. They don’t surface much and move pretty fast. The guide helping figure out the direction they moving helped seeing them more. By far the best is just out cruising the catarmaran’s. They are a blast to drive. Very comfortable seats. Not a lot of storage so pack accordingly. They provide a cooler with ice and water you can throw a couple bottle of pop in. Overall great experience and will definitely tour again with them!

One of the greatest experiences! - Well, what can we say? This adventure trip is unmissable! Everything about it is sheer exhilarating fun! The safety instructions were very clear and we were made extremely welcome by Andrew. Yes, from the first minute, Andrew was a class act… professional, articulate regarding history of the area and funny to make us all at ease.
The boats are out of this world- so fun and powerful yet easy to control. We felt very safe.
We saw all kinds of wildlife : dolphins, gators, Ospreys and even a leaping Spotted Eagle Ray that startled the hell out of us!
We cannot fault this trip at all and will definitely do this again, that’s how great it is!
Once again, Andrew was an absolute star and an absolute gent to us!

Almost to much fun! - These little water craft are loads of fun! We are both near 80 years old and had a great time.
Andrew was very informative and helpful also patient with our group.
The tour was great , Dolphins up close at times so close you could o most touch them.
The trip itself was Through open water and narrow passages. You go from slow times of enjoying wildlife and fabulous scenery , to zipping along at 30 mph.
This is the person and place to go with (Backwater adventure )

Boating Blast - Unique experience! More comfortable than a jet ski. Stay mostly dry. Andrew made it fun. More info on the ecosystem of mangrove would have been helpful. We did see dolphins. Would do it again!
