Manaslu - The first day is traveling by private vehicle from Kathmandu across the top of the Kathmandu Valley pass and down into the Trisuli River valley. Turn off the main highway toward Dhading where you pass by farms as well as through dense jungles. At Arughat Bazar, cross the Budhi Gandaki River and head north to the start of the trail at Soti Khola where you will spend the night. Travel time eight hours.
