Excellent informative Alhambra Tour & more - My husband and I were promptly picked up by Pepe at the agreed-upon time, at our Vking cruise port location. Pepe introduced us to Malaga and Granada while we were driven to Alhambra. Once there, we met our personal guide, Hamdy, who guided us to the Palaces’ entry while introducing us to the history of Alhambra. As we were guided throughout these beautiful and ornate grounds, Hamdy shared a wealth of history and information for absolutely everything we saw. Hamdy additionally helped me set up excellent photos plus took several of us at key locations (photo ops!). Be prepared for lots of walking involving cobblestones, steps, inclines. But any challenges you may have are rewarded with a vast number of beautiful sights!! Once the tour was over, Hamdy recommended a restaurant in Granada where Pepe took us to enjoy a delicious lunch outside at a central location (where we also found an ATM to use). Next was the drive back to our ship where we were dropped off within the required time frame, just ahead of sailing to our next location. We highly recommend this tour!!!

Our trip was a seamless... - Our trip was a seamless experience. We were picked up at our hotel and guided throughout the day. The driver and guide were punctual and were conversant in English. Our tour guide Andy was very knowledgeable and was an art historian. Excellent experience.

Red palace of Alhambra…. what a morning… - Go early morning, we arrived at 0830 am, it was cooler and far less people.
Our guide was Mohamed, and, for us, he bought the red palaces history and secrets to life. The twists and turns of the garden, the irrigation system, the summer palace and its beauty.
Alhambra was seen through a cultural lens, from understanding the writings in the fretwork, poetry hidden, steps of paradise, and the geometry and meaning of ceramic designs. Secrets we’d have missed… the lion clock that was, stained glass in women’s rooms, the communication chamber, the fountains and stillness, views, the amazing engineering of irrigation, and the surprise of just how many plants growing there, are in our garden… and so much more.
Be clear what you’d like to do with your spare time, we headed into Grenada for a mixed platter of Iberian cheeses and meats, and watched the world go by, bought traditional caramelised sweet treats and art…. Of course you may wish to squeeze your own visit to cathedral or something else, or enjoy a luxurious lunch overlooking the City from up high. Just speak to your guide.
Whatever you do wear comfortable and footwear, there’s lots of walking…

Worth it! - Definitely worth it. Our driver, Miguel picked us up right at our hotel in Malaga and drove us to the Alhambra where our guide, Isabel, met us. Isabel was very knowledgeable about the Alhambra and the area. She was patient with us while taking pictures and took pictures of us. It was wonderful, not to have to worry about staying with a large group when there are so many people there. We had a fantastic lunch on the terrace at the hotel in Grenada (at own expense) which had fantastic views of the city. Then Miguel drove us back to our hotel. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Excellent tour - We had a fantastic tour with Antonio. He took us Al Hambra/Nasrid Palace tour and was extremely patient and knowledgeable. His pace was perfect for our family members.

The tour was perfect. ... - The tour was perfect. Great pairing of historic facts with a gentle pace allowing time to take in all the amazing visuals. In addition, the chosen lunch spot was excellent. I highly recommend this tour for first time visitors as well as anyone wishing to go on a repeat visit and learn more historic facts.

AMAZING!! - One of the best tours we have ever been on. Lara was a great tour guide. Very informative and she really made it fun. As good as Lara was , Nikolai was completely off the chains. By far, the greatest tour driver in all of our travels. He try made it an amazing experience. If you are lucky enough to have him as your driver, he will make it a memorable experience!!!

Well done, in-depth tour of Alhambra - Our guide was extremely well informed! The Alhambra grounds were filled with large number of adults on tours, and students on fields trips while we were there; our guide was very adept at maneuvering us through and around the crowds. She was able to point out many things to our small group (of 4 people) that just would not have been possible if we had taken a tour consisting of a large number of people. She also coordinated well with our transportation team, ensuring that we were able to return to our cruise ship (and hour and 30 minutes away from Alhambra) in time for its departure to the next port.

Trip to Tangier - Our driver Nickolay was extremely professional and engaging. Mohammed the leader of all the tours was an excellent example of customer service.
Our guide in Tangier, Rashid was very knowledgeable of the history of Morocco. He exhibited great pride in his home city of Tangier
