Route 1: Historic Madrid (Route)

Operating Schedule: Departures occur every 15 minutes from 09:30 to 20:00.

Please note: On Sundays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, when Paseo del Prado is closed to traffic, Route 1 departs from the Puerta de Felipe IV of Retiro Park on Alfonso XII Street, opposite number 28 (Casón del Buen Retiro).

1. Museo Nacional del Prado
Route 1 invites passengers to embark on a scenic circular journey through Historic Madrid, exploring the city’s most significant landmarks. Travel along the leafy Paseo del Prado, admire the grand architectural treasures of the Habsburg era, and discover the highlights of Madrid’s Art Triangle, all while enjoying panoramic views from the Royal Palace to the Temple of Debod. This route includes stops at Prado Museum, Puerta de Alcalá, Salamanca District, Plaza de Colón, Plaza de Cibeles, Gran Vía, Plaza de España, Temple of Debod, Puerta de San Vicente, Puerta de Toledo, Gran Vía de San Francisco, Colegiata/Mayor, Atocha, Botanical Garden, and Prado Museum.

Route 2: Modern Madrid (Route)

Operating Schedule: Departures occur every 20 minutes from 09:30 to 20:30.

Route 2 invites passengers to embark on a scenic journey through Modern Madrid, exploring the city’s contemporary landmarks. Travel from Atocha Station to Nuevos Ministerios and from the iconic Puerta de Alcalá to Puerta del Sol. Admire cutting-edge architecture, including the impressive KIO Towers, the modern sculptures of the Public Art Museum, and the legendary Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. • Please note: Every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Paseo del Prado is closed to traffic. During this time, Route 1 will depart from the Puerta de Felipe IV of Retiro Park, located on Alfonso XII Street, in front of number 28 (Casón del Buen Retiro).

• The itinerary may be altered due to events or celebrations in the city (cultural events, sports events, official acts, or construction works).

• Buses are adapted for passengers with reduced mobility. The features include an automatic access ramp, reserved space for wheelchairs with safety clamps and fastenings, and an extended ramp and kneeling system to the right of the bus.
