Beautiful scenery and towns to explore, rain or shine - Carlos was a lovely guide that accommodated me very well because I was the only person on tour that spoke English to translate separately just for me.
It was also a very wet day but it made the mountains look mystical like something out of a movie.
Carlos was very informative of the local areas and how they came to be and focused on the architecture of the houses in the small towns focusing on ancient traditions.
Overall it is very worthwhile to check out.

Beautiful and peaceful - It was amazing, I really liked the experience. Gonzalo, our guide, was very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it, the place is out of this world, just beautiful!

Amazing, 100% recommend - The tour was amazing and me and my family absolutely loved it!! The views were beautiful and breathtaking, the car was spacious and clean and the places we stopped at were just beautiful. Our guide Gonzalo was so lovely, respectful and nice and made sure we were comfortable, explained all the history well and was just really friendly. Well worth the money and the long day it was the highlight of our granada trip.

Don't miss the experience - This was the highlight of our Andalusian trip and Manolo was excellent guide with so much knowledge and passion for the region. We experienced and saw many things throughout the day with surprises all over the trip. The Jamon curing factory, chocolate factory, waterfall and villages were my favourite. My family loved the lunch place that was picked with traditional dishes! A MUST DO!

BEST day in Spain! - By far the best day and tour of our 1.5 weeks in Spain!!! Carlos was so fantastic- we visited several absolutely beautiful villages in the highest mountains, he took us through little quaint neighborhoods we never would have found on our own, made several special stops on the road for beautiful vistas, canyons and bridges, and gave us 1.5 hours of free time to eat and shop. Carlos made the trip! He is so knowledgeable, fun, personable and funny. The absolute highlight of our trip to Spain!!!

Out of the City, A Great Way to See Granada - It was a great way to see what was outside of the City. We had a van with 5 people total making it an intimate to get to know new people - New Zealander and Scottish. Our driver was very informative and accommodating as we had some walking concerns. He took us the ways it would be less taxing. He stopped along the way to tell us about the history of the area, gave us some time to explore and see the local sites. We ended up at an amazing area to have lunch. He actually pointed the local restaurants vs. the "tourist" restaurants and it was really great. One of the party had a steak which was thick and perfectly done. He finished it plus all the potatoes and said it was the best steak he had ever had. (He was also 30 years old!)
We enjoyed it a lot and would highly recommend doing the smaller tour. It was our last full day in Granada making it ever more memorable.

Charming scenery, great guide. - Very interesting tour. The guide very knowledgeable about the area. Beautiful scenery and charming villages. The chance to stop off at some of the villages for short breaks and a longer lunch stop was very welcome.

Great experience! - We had such a wonderful time traveling to and learning about the villages that make up the Alpujarras. Manuel, our driver and guide was courteous and knowledgeable! He was a great driver (very safe)! It was more of a personalized tour because it was just my friend and I which was so lovely!!! Great, relaxing experience with wonderful views!

Magical trip to the Alpujarra villages! - My husband and I had a fantastic trip to the villages in the Alpujarra region of the Sierra Nevada. The mountains, landscape and signs of spring everywhere were breathtaking. Our guide, Gonzalo was knowledgeable, professional, kind and enthusiastic. Gonzalo is proficient in English and made sure that both Spanish and English speakers alike were able to participate and ask questions. We liked the small group experience as we were able to connect easily and make new friends on the tour. We learned so much about the history of the region and the interesting architecture of the lovely white villages. Gonzalo was an excellent driver, navigating the winding roads with ease. He recommended a marvelous restaurant where we had one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Spain. Highly recommend!

Solo visit to La Alpujarras - Had a great day with Gonzalo. He was very knowledgeable and provided us with great information about each of the villages that we visited, the history of the people of the area and the landscapes. He was very considerate of the group members providing help where needed to deal with the steep streets and steps.
