Beautiful and stunning ride with a guide who instantly felt like a friend! - My son (18) and I took the Granada nature and villages ebike tour. The ride was absolutely fantastic. It was about 27 miles total per my watch and included double track, single track and empty almost car-free roads. The views and terrain were spectacular, and the full suspension e-bikes were very capable. In fact we returned with over 50 percent of battery remaining. It was amazing to me that we could ride up straight from the city center and within a few minutes be in nature and trails that felt like we were miles and miles away. Our guide, Simon, was very knowledgeable and just a terrific kind and thoughtful person. I’ve been on many a guided bike ride and guided trips throughout Europe and Simon stands out as one of the most personable I have met. He seemed to really be interested in providing a great experience and getting to know and learn about his clients. I cannot recommend him and this trip enough- so much that part of me wanted to book the trip again before we leave!

Fabulous Day Trip - Amazing. Incredible. Beautiful. Unique. This is a fabulous day trip -- if you have a second or third day in Granada, highly recommend. The scenery is gorgeous; you really appreciate the Spanish countryside -- olives falling from the trees, animals, almonds, hills, beautiful views, water, and, if you take the long route and go to lunch, the food is the best you will have in the Granada area, plus the terrific view. Now, how do you know if this trip is for you? The full trip is 7 hours, 5.5 of which are on the bike. The first 1/3-1/2 is the hardest -- off-road, some steep descents (you can walk the bike on the most challenging). Yes, it is an e-bike, but you need to be able to control it. I would suggest the Albaycin/Sacramonte two-hour trip as a warm-up, as it will help you get accustomed to the hills. But you need some biking skills and decent fitness (I have no problem walking 20-30 thousand steps a day, and I play tennis; I don't bike a ton, but I'm fit enough to handle it). The trip can be shortened (you will miss lunch, which again is really worth it), but you will still need to complete the most challenging off-road portion even on the shorter trip. Finally, Simon is an outstanding guide. He is fun, interesting, makes the trip very safe, no pressure, very encouraging, and he is just sunny (we rode in the cold and rain). A huge bonus to spend our day with him. On the weather: if it is hot, you'll need a backpack, plenty of water, sunglasses, and sunscreen. In the cold, I would recommend buying some cheap gloves and wearing lots of layers, as well as something to protect you from the rain. Definitely ask in advance what gear will help, and wear the right pants -- either bike shorts or something good for biking. You will have a better day. But if you love outdoor, athletic activities, this trip is a true special treat. A highlight of our time in Spain!

Best day ever - I had the most amazing day biking with my family and Simon who was the sickest tour guide ever!! We biked 25 miles through the Sierra Nevada’s and stopped in villages along the way for food and drinks. Saw the best views and ate the best meals all thanks to Simon!!! Would recommend!

Amazing e-bike tour! - Excellent tour! We had a brilliant time e-biking in nature - we saw some incredible views of the mountains and the Alhambra, and really enjoyed riding the e-bikes. Simon was a fantastic tour guide, he was so friendly and very knowledgable about the local area. 10/10 experience, would really highly recommend this tour!
