Beautiful and informational family sunset tour - Colleen was our fantastic driver! Despite the rain, we had a wonderful tour. Colleen gave us a lot of local information and answered all our questions. She was enthusiastic, flexible, and accommodating. We stopped several times to view elk, and she gave us plenty of time to enjoy the animals and take pictures. We also enjoyed a wonderful sunset at a great spot overlooking the canyon. It was a little chilly, so she offered us blankets to bring to the viewing spot. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Great Experience but Short of a "Safari" - This was a fun tour, with some caveats. Our tour guide, Tyler, was great. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The description of an off-road safari, however, is a little misleading. It's true, we ventured off the pavement for a stretch, but it was on a gravel road. We saw the occasional bird while "off road," but a "safari," it was not. We did eventually see an elk on the side of a paved road. The sunset part of the experience delivered on expectations with some amazing views. One of the mistakes my family made was arriving at the Grand Canyon before 10:00 in the morning and doing a lot of sightseeing in the area that ended up being duplicated on our late-afternoon tour.
